You're presuming he's left them all out for tactical reasons. But let's suppose you're right and fully fit and raring to go we have

Burroughs
Tavares
Kane
Bidwell
Gyo
Kelly
Sheaf
Hamer
Waghorn
Allen
Palmer
Doyle
Panzo
Rose
Dabo

Not much of a squad is it?
How many injuries?

I acknowledged it's a bad patch in the post. As robins says himself if can't win don't lose. These points could prove vital.

Wether you agree or not it's clearly not a pisstake post.

Weve lost the one player who can change games from midfield, we have hardly any fit players and clearly are in limbo - we have loanee defenders who are not used to this level of intensity - it’s a point further from relegation unless something dramatically changes

Takeover is ‘imminent’

Without COH, playing a heavy midfield is not going to work. The players we have don't offer enough goal threat. Going two strikers is the right way but the problem is, we don't even have that at the moment anyway. Waghorn is abysmal, Tavares will rightly or wrongly not get trusted to do it full time, and Walker isn't very good. Godden is the only one that could really do it and he is still some weeks away.

It is probably going to be like this for some time. The last two performances will probably become a longer running pattern until we get some reinforcements, or players back from injury. The squad we have at the moment isn't good enough in quality or quantity.

Which is still not bad considering our financial situation

We are outperforming thanks to robins. Not a whole lot to be angry about.

Have to wait and see on the takeover front before changing goalposts to promotion as an expectation

Half of our squad aren’t good enough who are on contracts. Some of our higher earners aren’t performing. This league is a lottery. The likes of millwall and Luton aren’t exactly big money clubs either. This is a combination of strange recruitment and lack of owner support when we needed to push on

So we are doing a good job like Millwall and Luton currently.

Not doom and gloom for me at mo despite poor form since resuming fixtures.

We desperately need to bump the wage bill by about 50%
We'll get a lot of that back in the summer. What remains to be seen is what league that will be.

If the ownership stagnates in January we're getting nobody in. If we're getting nobody in it's going to be a long slog till the end.

I’m sorry but Millwall have seriously strengthened more than us

spent couple million on Flemming

We are currently 3 points off the playoffs , the main problem we currently have isn't exactly form per se , it's the way the squad is falling away as the season goes by and the fear that we won't be able to replace
Needs to happen asap

Not sure I agree about the slog , we will just float in lower mid table picking up points here and there and comfortably stay up

The same people being doom and gloom now are the same ones that said we were going to be 10 points adrift by the WC break

to do what?
Allow Allen to play deeper for a while without the responsibility to get up and down the pitch as much. Thought part of the problem with Doyle and Panzo was they didn't want to pass backwards to Wilson and there was only Hamer offering for a regular pass into the midfield, so it was all very obvious and telegraphed during that period which played into the hands of their press. We needed 10 minutes of easy options and triangles up the pitch, to get our foot back on the ball and push Bristol back a bit.

Hope for some good news this week

then I’ll get excited for the second half of the season

if we don’t strengthen think we’ll finish about 17th

Well. McF, Eccles and O'Hare either out for the season or as good as. Those remaining struggle to all be fit at once and can't cope with a fixture pile up.

We really, really need the ownership resolving. It was Robins himself who said it'd be an achievement to stay up this season.

Palmer and waghorn are going to be £25 grand a week alone

We got rid of Jones, Shipley and Pask and replaced them with one player on more money than the three out together. It's a natural progression and they needed to go but without further investment it's a negative spiral.

It doesn't help that our academy is producing absolutely nothing and the gambles made bringing in Taveres and Cashman failed.

A new recruitment team may work in our favour.

We gambled keeping the so called 'big 3' and put them on big wages. All good, but you lose squad depth and run the risk of injury by throwing eggs in one basket.
