Shocking Moments at CCFC Games (1 Viewer)

After whats happened with the Suarez biting incident, i've been thinking about some of the most disgusting things i have seen at Football matches. The worst thing i have seen at a game i have attended was at the West Ham game last year, when a section of the Hammers' booed and interrupted the minutes silence for Remembrance Day. So whats the most shocking or disgusting thing you have experianced at a game? (Except the performance from Cov ;) )

Summerbee doing Froggatt. Salako breaking John Harkness' leg in the 6 yard area in front of the West terrace also remains a firm memory. Dion being booed cos he had not scored for a few games was awful, as was the reaction to Stern John when it was a laugh to chant at the ref to send him off. Any instances of crowd trouble.

Both of those instances were an utter disgrace. The Stern John incident was one of the few times I have been ashamed to be a ccfc fan.

Mr Socks trying to attack Strachan.

Was Mr. socks a Chubby fella who threw his shirt at the little ginger prick in the dug-out?

I also remember a chubby piss-head getting on the pitch in our first season in championship when we were losing at Deepdale (as usual) to confront Hedman.....His beer bravado evaporated as he realised Hedman was sober, 6'2" & about 15 stone of athlete....

That said......I'd still fight Hedman for a go on his wife....or his sister in law...

as a serving soldier i agree with the opening thread about the west ham supporters singing through the silence, it was disrispectful but the most shocking thing ive seen at the city is proberbly Kevin Kyle.

Gary Megson crocking Dean Emerson in the snow. Emerson was never the same after that.

I was at that game and can't remember that happening.

The most shocking moment I'm aware of was the day Roy O'Donovan entered the field as a 'professional footballer'

Bryan Robson's disgusting foul on David Speedie at Highfield Road in front of the Main Stand. It was an awful tackle and everyone in the ground held their breath waiting for him to be sent off, but as the England and Man Utd captain it was never going to happen, of course! Should be the same rules for everyone.

One of the funniest was from that Portsmouth game when a Pompey fan ran the full length of the pitch on his own giving it large towards the East Stand, the stewards go him and "escorted2 him out through the East Stand where he got totally battered.

West Ham fans started shouting during the silence, the cov fans in singers corner went ape shit and tried to get to them, then when the minute finished, everyone booed. One of the most, if not the most, disrespectful and disgusting things i have ever seen

That's the one. Used to be well know for going round Cov selling socks, trainers and the like out the back of his van.

Even has a personalised registration which is something like S0cks1. Nice chap and Cov through and through and too be honest most of us had, had enough by Strachan at that stage.

That is completley disgusting. I feel so bad for those poor disabled fans. There is no excuse for that sort of behaviour. However, it is nice to see old Highfield Road again, seeing as i was 9 last time i saw it

Leeds in the early 90s. We were winning 2-1 I believe, 3 mins stoppage time. The ref allowed play to continue pretty much until Leeds got the equalizer. Only a young lad at the time and it think it was our mistake that lead to the goal but stoppage time was well over 3mins and seemed like half an hour!!

I remember that day well. I still don't know what sparked it. There's never been any real trouble before or since. Strange!!

Leeds at home 1996 was worse than pompey 50 or so of ther so called hard boys came on the pitch at the end of the game and started attacking the ball boys and the young coventry autograph hunters that used to regualry come on at the end of the game until 100 or so Cov went on the pitch and confronted them in the penalty box and gave them a good hiding thatb was pictured all around the world on Sky tele . That day the mighty leeds were timid and the normal loud mouths were put in there place there coaches were also attacked on swan lane and they did nothing and wimpered back up the M1 all 3,000 of them

I was there that day too....(2001....I was on Sky Blue Sabatical in 1996 so I don't recall the Leeds incident above)

I seem to recall that the legion had a bit of a resurgence early in the noughties...

I also remember trouble at Wigan, Leicester & getting locked in at Maine road during those couple years...

I'm guessing pompeys 657 idiots wanted to put the legion idiots in their place......

Yes I remember that game, I was pretty young at the time but I think that was the last day of the Swan Lane End terrace. The mistake that lead to their equalizer was a Roy Wegerle back pass from the half way line.
