Pressure needs to be upped on Sisu now to go as well...
Clean break and new start for L2

A work colleague is a Yeovil fan and when Slade joined told me Slade would play long ball to a big centre forward all day long. Unfortunately he tried the long ball bit without the 'big bastard' bit so it was always bound to fail, but he had no other tactic.

Good thing about this for me (thanks for your time by the way, Russell...nice bloke, poor manager) is that despite the inevitable drop to L2, we'll have someone else in charge of a potentially big day out at Wembley.

Had we gone to Wembley with Slade in charge, I would've said we are likely to get hammered. Hopefully we'll have a better chance with someone else in charge.

Genuinely feel sorry for the guy. Yes he had to go and it had to be now (well a couple of games ago). He came at a really bad time and made things worse. His tactics were questionable...no wonder he indicated that we didn't need tactics. His starting line ups, formations and substitutions all left fans wondering what he was doing. Yes a couple of lucky games...not conceding she often at the end of the game might get have changed our opinion but if we are honest at no time during his tenure did we look like climbing out of relegation. All too late now but we must be ready for next season to hit ground running. Board d made right decision for me. But who will be next?

Tisdale at exeter would be a good solid choice

He has them flying, right type but very very unlikely.
Will be a manager not attached to anyone also with the pick of the names being Pressley, Martin Allen.
For some reason Greg Abbott keeps coming into the back of my mind.
Abbott and Ricketts assisting would be interesting.

We have got to get it out of our heads that these owners are building anything.

1) So we somehow stay up, budget will be cut another manager will have the same issues as the previous 8 have. A squad full of youth, loans and retirement candidates looking for last pay day.

2) Now, we go down, budget will be cut another manager will have the same issues as the previous 9 have. A squad full of youth, loans and retirement candidates looking for last pay day.

See a pattern, i fucking do, and no matter if you turn up in our thousand or hundreds the outcome is the same. Go past Tim, he is here to deflect, distract and be a Sisu punch bag by design.Get to Sisu, Joy needs dragging out, Sisu need to be highlighted and this is why when Tim is asked he doesnt work for them, doesn't get paid by them and will have to go ask them on any question he doesn't want to answer.

Too late. Showed he clearly had no clue after about 5 games.

The Bigi situation must have something to do with it. I'd say that the fact tht he came back in yesterday and showed what we've been missing since he was left out must have struck a chord with Fisher.
I was really please when SLade was appointed and genuinely thought that he was the man to turn us around. Sadly it's not worked.
We could end up having as many managers as wins this season the way things are going.

Wasn't it Slade who pushed for Yak to be signed?

Imagine if he came in and was better at being a manager and saved us from relegation!

I'll have money on him at the bookies if Tim is listed as a potential candidate for the new manager. The ultimate cost cutting measure.

Would be one of my choices... cannot see it surely? Not after what he said when he left.... tho his career needs a new platform.
What he said when he left was very much against the council and not the owners wasn't it?
