Why not ask those that have. There are enough of us. And just about all of us agreed that the plot of land isn't big enough. Not you though.

I am not a land developer. I didn't think you were either, or Martcov.

Because it doesn't.

So Richardson put our club in serious debt by spending money we didn't have. Somewhere between 30m and 60m depending on who says so. And we were losing a minimum 0.5m a month. So he sold our stadium without having another one built to move to. He used the money from HR to keep our club afloat whilst he jumped ship.

So why has our present predicament got nothing to do with Richardson?

And your next false claim that you make is that I accused him of selling off the right to buy back HR. You have pulled this one a few times. Just like on the stadium consultation thread. But when I ask you to show it to everyone you ignore the question or ignore the thread.

Reckon you could fit a new stadium onto the site. Posted this pic before but something like Millwall have wouldn't be impossible.

If only you were able to build something as big right next to present buildings and a railway line. Is it to the same scale?

At least if something like against planning laws CCC could be blamed.

And best of all who thinks it could and would happen.

Thought everyone was keen for him to keep his mouth shut? Even if he did say something like that it would just get a response of 'more BS from Fisher'.

Er no.

There are a few on here that question you if you believe anything he says ;) And that is just because everyone knows that the 3 week comment was a lie.

Do you see a chance for 365 revenues or car parks? What do the residents think? What about the roads? Can they handle the traffic?

No. But don't let that stop people from saying differently.

It is to scale. You can build 4.5 metres away from the track.

I get the feeling that there has been a change of heart, yes. Also, it'll be interesting to see how things pan out after the JR appeal etc.

Whenever was it any different, one failed SISU scheme after another, that is what I see.
It does not matter what the current intention is till something concrete happens it is a news paper story, that is all.

PS If CCFC move to the Butts from the Ricoh maybe Cov Utd will move there one day?

The future is very uncertain..

Grendel reminded us enough times in the past. And I quoted Grendel and another stupid post of his.

Wouldn't be quick to say he is wrong? Why was his story pulled? All I can think is he heard a whisper about Coventry Football club wanting to move at the Butts. He just got the wrong football club. Things like this will happen when trying to get scoops. But then we have people looking for excuses for him when one isn't needed and accusing another journalist of the same when he had waited for what looks like the truth.

Take it on the chin for once Grendel. Nobody can be right all the time. And you are wrong frequently enough to have admitted once at least.

Which story has been pulled??

Wasn't really suggesting we do a carbon copy of Millwall's stadium but if you want to read about some of the things they do to raise revenue look here:

I'm sure there will be NIMBY's who complain however the fact they've moved to an existing stadium, where permission for expansion has previously been granted, will count against them.

Being close to rail and bus terminals as well as the ring road and city centre car parks / park and ride I can't see it being any worse than HR was.

Would have thought those were things to be looking at in the unlikely event that this project moves forward and we get some detailed plans and a planning application submitted.

And how far away from the present buildings considering the height of the build?

Plenty of football stadiums that are right next to other buildings, even housing. Again though I would have thought that was something to be looked at by architects when drawing up plans and discussed if we ever see said plans and a planning application is submitted.

But how many new builds are like the one you are pushing?

Sure the old ones, but planning rules are stricter these days are they not?

And how many years ago was HR built? How many people had a car in them days?

Isn't that a railway banking behind it though? Building 4.5mtrs from the railway lines will surely mean excavating a large section of the embankment. Can you see that being allowed? I would think that the bottom of the embankment is as near as you're going to be allowed to the railway lines.

Not pushing it, just saying its not impossible.

Sure the old ones, but planning rules are stricter these days are they not?

Millwall has a gap of 40ft on one side and 6.5ft on another, St Marys is 50ft. Sure there's more but they were the first that sprang to mind. Again though an issue for architects and the planning department.

It's 4.5m from the nearest actual line according to Network Rail's guide for architects and builders.

.

That's fair enugh. I would say it's to be encouraged if the club make noises through whatever channels that they would like t work with CCC however.

Didn't someone say that the Reid article has gone where he says we want to build on the Butts?

Another astute fact
