So he sold our stadium without having another one built to move to. He used the money from HR to keep our club afloat whilst he jumped ship.

Whenever was it any different, one failed SISU scheme after another, that is what I see.
It does not matter what the current intention is till something concrete happens it is a news paper story, that is all.

Wouldn't be quick to say he is wrong? Why was his story pulled? All I can think is he heard a whisper about Coventry Football club wanting to move at the Butts. He just got the wrong football club. Things like this will happen when trying to get scoops. But then we have people looking for excuses for him when one isn't needed and accusing another journalist of the same when he had waited for what looks like the truth.

I'm sure there will be NIMBY's who complain however the fact they've moved to an existing stadium, where permission for expansion has previously been granted, will count against them.

Being close to rail and bus terminals as well as the ring road and city centre car parks / park and ride I can't see it being any worse than HR was.

Would have thought those were things to be looking at in the unlikely event that this project moves forward and we get some detailed plans and a planning application submitted.

Isn't that a railway banking behind it though? Building 4.5mtrs from the railway lines will surely mean excavating a large section of the embankment. Can you see that being allowed? I would think that the bottom of the embankment is as near as you're going to be allowed to the railway lines.

Millwall has a gap of 40ft on one side and 6.5ft on another, St Marys is 50ft. Sure there's more but they were the first that sprang to mind. Again though an issue for architects and the planning department.

It's 4.5m from the nearest actual line according to Network Rail's guide for architects and builders.

That's fair enugh. I would say it's to be encouraged if the club make noises through whatever channels that they would like t work with CCC however.
