I can see it now..."but who wouldn't want to see top class Premiership football..." The post would then be liked by "SkyBlue"Tony.

You really are a dumb ass at times. Have you actually ever read any of my posts or do you just go by the fictitious translations of what certain other posters make out I've said?

Why are Wasps and JLR on there?

Did they provide any sponsorship? I suppose you could email Joe Elliott to ask for the reasons each logo is on the flyer, but personally I think that might appear a little unseemly.

The one thing I wish our club did (regardless of blame over this situation) is up their marketing game. Dave pointing out that Visit Coventry site earlier shows that even something as simple as that, should be updated.

I'm not sure if we have any allocated to marketing or whether due to the current size of the club that it's a task assigned to someone along with other tasks they perform but I think some more decent PR and marketing could help bring more coffers into the kitty.

Do the club run the Visit Coventry site?

I agree, their marketing hasn't been the best but has improved a fair bit.

I suspect not...it would be a venture between the council and Visit England I reckon. What I mean though is that our info is 12 months out of date. A good marketing dept would be on top of things like that. I do agree it is better than what it once was though. I just feel it could be far more effective.

If I win the lottery tonight, I'll offer to do it myself free of charge (from the Maldives).

I hear the Cayman Islands are nice. You could run it from there.

Let London Wasps spend their money on PR, means it will run out sooner as the people of Coventry are clerly not interested in them

As always I'm putting in some facts.
Its a school kids box and people have had weeks to put items in.
Close the thread ............... or move it to the Wasps 'slagfest' thread.

What is your fact then?

Are you saying nobody at all suggested anything to do with CCFC but they did Wasps / Blaze? Who suggested Wasps and arranged for their mascot to be part of it? Did a member of the public write in and suggest that?

You tried to divert with "facts" earlier about the memorial garden, which was corrected straight away...

Take off your blinkers.
It's a school and it's what they think.
Channel your efforts at Sisu for giving us such a low profile that kids don't know we exist.

So the school kids chose?

I thought you were bringing facts into it, I still can't see them?

It says in the article the selections were not from the children

So which is it, a school kids box or one that other people picked the items for?

I'm finding it hard to believe that three local primary schools have decided a good use of their funds is paying for such a capsule and burying it, let alone employing a PR firm. Isn't it more likley that as 3 primary schools close to the site they were part of the burial ceremony?

I am sure when asked what you want in the capsule they all said;
• A photo album from Coventry City Council

The link he posted as a fact contradicts what he is saying anyway...
