All bullshit unfortunately, a lot of things were said to get the simpletons on board with the move
Just like the simpletons who went to shitfields and drooled over Fisher.

I don't remember anyone apart from RFC drooling over TF. I didn't like the simpletons on the hill abusing fellow fans, but there you go.

tbf, some of what he gets is a bit... OTT and bollocks filled.
True but it would be nice to have him still posting on here. The way he suddenly disappeared when it was revealed in court that the paper were making agreements with CCC to suppress stories to CCC and Wasps advantage wasn't great. Added to the fact the paper never even acknowledged what had been said.
I thought Lucas said as part of WASPs buying Ricoh they were going to build a training facility?
State of the art wasn't it, fastastic new facility for all the community.
Wouldn't commit to more than a rolling 12 month contract
Have you actually read the piece in the paper?
CHRIS ANDERSON ON CCFC ACADEMY’S FUTURE

He said: “When I think about our academy with local boys, the best athletes in our community, training at the Higgs centre, we would like to stay there and continue using it.

“That has become difficult. Coventry Sports Foundation has found it necessary to explore alternative uses. We’ve consistently said to them we would like to remain there. They have not been very engaging with us.

“Again, we need everybody behind the football club. I don’t see why anybody in Coventry would want the city’s most talented athletes frozen out of the city – a purpose-built facility which was built for the academy.

“I’ve not seen any evidence that the football club has ever indicated to the Coventry Sports Foundation that they would not want to stay there for the long term. I’ve seen no evidence of Coventry Sports Foundation coming to us officially to say we’re offering you to stay at the Higgs centre long term. They’ve not made that offer.

“It feels like they’ve decided we’re not part of their plans.”

yep. but the rolling 12 month contract reference was to when the academy moved back in in 2013/14. hadn't wanted to change it since then. didn't want to commit longer as new stadium etc with academy facilities.
maybe Anderson has tried to change things in the 5 minutes he's been here.
But Higgs went on record back in 2013 about wanting to expand facilities and be open to more local groups.
This is an ongoing situation with the club's owners that people are expected to sit around and wait whilst the owners decide on what strategy they want to adopt on stadiums/academies etc.

Highlight the bit you want to quote and it will pop up a button to say reply. Click that and it adds it to the reply box at the bottom. You can do it on more than one post and it adds all the quotes for you.

Just got to work out how to pm nick now....

It isn't really a pop, he made accusations of people saying he had been "paid off" when no such thing happened.

It was pointed out that the CET are hardly going to write a damning article of Wasps when their website was wrapped in Wasps adverts. He took that as him being accused of being paid off, rather than the common sense of how advertising works.

I'm glad that highs are wanting to expand facilities and be more open to local groups, makes sense then for them to kick us out and replace us with London wasps.....

It's obvious the telegraph are in there pockets, nothing more than a pr mouthpiece, I'd support a blanket ban of coventry telegraph coverage and interviews on CCFC

OK this is shit, but why is it happening? Are WASPs offering the Higgs something CCFC can't match? Is it part of a WASPs strategy for a higher purpose? Is it tit-for-tat, SISU are in talks about the Butts ... well, if you think thats going to upset us, what if we do this..?

I don't understand the reasoning, why not make CCFC academy part of the whole plan?

Maybe it is more to do with the whole city of rugby stuff? Aren't Cov Sports Foundation / Higgs involved with all of that?

I'd say it's more the announcements have been timed to coincide.

Who chose to react to who... who knows!

You would think with Anderson saying Wasps is a done deal, that would be the investigation to see that. Rather than not mention it at all.

Please you keep accusing people on the hill of abusing fasns how many did it and how many times? stop telling lies to get your bullsit across.
I went nearly every week never abused anyone nor did any of those that stood with me.
And yes you were all there talking and kissing TF hand at half time when he graced you with his presence.

Maybe they won't report it until it is signed, sealed and confirmed then they can claim to have broken the news first
