No idea why people think SISU would make up a rumour about investment? Madness.
People get a bit obsessed with conspiracies due to the past behaviours of those they are judging.
Like seeing things in CET articles that possibly just aren't really there.
It's the paranoid state this whole situation has got people into.

Who has seen anything that isn't there? OR do you mean the article with examples of how it was spun? If it was the same I guess people will be posting examples of how SISU are making up investment rumours for some strange reason?

Strange, you are going on about the conspiracy shite again.

The only strange thing Nick is that Sisu all of a sudden want investment from outside the company.
I don't believe they have made it up, just find it strange they now want investments from supporters, from what I've heard he is a City fan from Warwickshire with a few bob.

Oh perhaps it's a not so subtle attempt to keep people hanging on and turning up to buy tickets. They've effectively done this all along whilst the clubs assets in tandem with it's status has slowly slipped away. It makes perfect sense............things are going to be better just around the corner ?! Except all the time they prepare to sell off Ryton and prepare their next court case.

I am saying that thinking they are spreading rumours about investment, to distract people from what they are actually doing is possibly a bit far fetched.
Like also seeing an article that mostly is supportive of the club.
Then picking out one line about the cost of a matchday program and deciding the article is spin, designed to kick the club. Is also a bit far fetched. It's the paranoid state people are erring to.

Yawn, the people now will be going to support their team. Not because of what SISU say.

Another yawn, it wasn't supportive of the club.

People gave examples and pointed out the bits they were meaning.

Food and drink is a rip off.
It is important to point out the club do not set the price for food and drink Compass do. The club only get
15% of that. ( in other words the club get screwed over even with compas ripping off the fans)
The club are mid priced for tickets. For example the club are £100 quid cheaper than the likes of Rochdale.
(They didnt highlight how much more expensive we are than Bradford)
The club are expensive for replica tops and matchday programs.
The article got the matchday programs bit wrong. We are actually just as expensive as 95% of everyone else.

That is what you define as an article that is spin to 'kick' the club.
Like I say you are just the same as the people who suggest the club maybe leaking their own stories about investment for smoke and mirrors reasons.
In my opinion both you and those people are a bit paranoid and are now reading too much into some things

Apart from the fact you get pointed out things that are factually incorrect to back it up...

You have to read into everything though, otherwise you would be a bit naive and bang on about being proud of the council.

SISU are making this rumour up so that they get bigger crowds over Christmas. They will also be able to ask for more money when they sell all our best players as other teams won't think we need the money. Then they will liquidate the club at a huge profit, write the profit off against tax and sell the statue of Lady Godiva. Probably.

For it to be the spin you suggest they would need to have intentionally got the matchday program but wrong. If they were going to do that why bother mentioning Compass. Why not spin about the cost of Bradford in comparison to us. Not point out we are miles cheaper than Southend.
Are you serious that they say there and thought in this article we can kick the club if we incorrectly point out that the club are expensive for 'matchday programs' for god sake get a grip.

Not sure where the council are mentioned in this.
Or is this a 'you are a bit paranoid and got this one wrong but don't want to admit it so would like to change the subject' Grendelesk moment.

I;m not changing the subject, it was spin.

Or are you saying they just didn't actually check facts before writing an article?

I didn't say that article was wholly trying to kick the club, just that the telegraph enjoy doing it.

No differant to you then Nick.
Defend the club on everything and enjoy knocking the Telegraph on anything they say.
And before we get your usual reponse No I haven't made it up, you just seem to block it from your memory;)

Yep I think on that particular bit regarding the matchday programs they were lazy. They looked at the leading picture on the BBC website that showed Cov to be in the most expensive band for matchday programs. That they didn't look at the analysis that shows everyone is around the same price.
They had far better opportunities to 'kick' the club. Than intentionally misrepresenting the cost of matchday programs. (Hardly a killer blow). Also if doing that why bother pointing out that the club don't have anything to do with the rip off good and drink and only get a tiny percentage of the profits. Also why point out that the club are quite reasonable on season tickets. Also why compare then to a much smaller club who are rip off. Not a similar club who are much cheaper.
The article overall was more favourable to the club than anti.

You can go compare all you like with prices at other clubs but what counts is attracting supporters { Casual now mainly } to a club that is being run into the ground and floundering near the bottom of League 1...........£25 to many people is not acceptable, SISU { with help from others } have kicked the shit out of any loyalty in all but about 5,000 fans ! I know quite a few with ST's who think they were duped last summer too and don't intend to renew for 2017.

I think your right with this point Ashdown. It would be more fun over the summer running a book to see if any one can get near the actual number if Sisu are still around.
