I heard that the club is starting a new competition next season. It's called "Spot the Crowd". You have to put an 'X' where you think he's sitting!
And they're all be sitting in just the one stand ( the main stand ) cost savings !!! in my opinion . They've done it before ( Cov tel stand )
Makes a mockery of buy your season ticket by the 19th May to sit in the same seat !!!
But hey who cares about the customer !!!

COV tel stand , block by block for those who pay at the gate !!!

So you think they will pay for staff to man two stands in the hope they get a good walk up?
Also how can they sell say 10 ST in a block? They will move everyone over to main stand.
Just out of curiosity how many does the main stand hold?

Main stand holds approximately 3 thousands, not including corporate .

I would imagine we won't sell too many overall .
Think 2000 is very optimistic

If we don't sell 2000 season tickets, I'll buy you a pint at every home game you turn up to next season. Yes, I know there will be some not renewing, but a load of diehards will. Whatever, we are all City fans. Incidentally, although I'll buy you a pint (if we don't sell above 2k), it won't count as a date (happily married)

Even if we get 10k season tickets Shitsu won't be giving out any extra dough. Wankpuffin fishface has already stated it will be a top 8 budget for div 4. If we do well it will.be down to Robins and a decent youth team.

Send a tweet asking for ST sales numbers, moan about them not replying and they are hiding things. See tweet about ST sales numbers and question why they are telling people as it's embarrassing and moan again. Rinse and repeat about everything.

Don't know how the comms people don't explode day in day out, it's bad enough at work when somebody is being thick and aggressive about stuff and you have to diplomatically deal with it.
That is like when someone asks a question. When the reply is given it is something to do with CCC, Higgs or even the Sky Blue Trust having a go.

There's no need to have a go at SISU because we know they are shit. But it's OK to constantly have a go at anyone else involved even if you know they're shit.

Rinse and repeat :shifty:

The season ticket is the income, so if we get 10k sales Mark Robins would have more to spend than if we sell 2k.. It's a fairly simple relationship ?

You'd think so wouldn't you.
Yet on rising turnover over the last three seasons the manager has seen his budget reduced by at least £200 K per season, possibly more this season, February will reveal that.

You and your damn facts Wingy, and here was me smugly thinking I'd understood it all (although will this year's accounts include TF's liposuction costs)!

Not really Harry
There may be some leeway in there.
But what is not clear is why the reduction.
It looks like some presentation exercise.
When comparisons have been done with other clubs owning or renting our operation seems top heavy on direct costs in comparison.
These are no facts but my opinion.
It is also true that top budgets shouldn't determine performance or that middling budgets can't succeed. :)

People must be crazy chucking money up front to SISU whilst all these takeover rumours are still awash. Hold off and see what happens at least until July, this will also be a chance to see if SISU are operating their now normal cost cutting bullshit with the playing squad. Remember they have over £600,000 from the Wembley jolly to keep the club afloat, so it will once again show their true intentions for Mark Robin's team building ambitions.

Expecting 30%-40% drop off in season ticket holders. That may go back to 25% if we have a good August.

It's annoying all the keyboard warriors on social media creating further negativity and endorsing boycott! The funny thing is, these people probably don't go to games!

If you don't want to go for whatever reason, just don't go, don't rididicule or judge people that decide to spend their Saturday afternoons watching football.

Six of my mates renewed yesterday.

sounds like your Saturday night is going to be a riot mate!!
Just replying to the poster who said a good season next year would be to finish in the ten ten in League Two. This is Coventry City we are talking about. If Forest Green get promotion this season, a good season for them, with all due respect, might be a top ten finish. For us, who only ended up in the old fourth division last time by default due to changes to the league structure, to have our lowest ever finish in almost 100 years and be pleased about it shows how far we have fallen.

Online isn't

Good point. Or maybe he meant Friday. Italia said SISU were great at one point, maybe he meant they weren't.

Back on topic, I think we will sell more than people think. No evidence, just a hunch.

As I said previously we seem to have a nucleus of fans that just want to watch their football team on a Saturday afternoon and don't seem bothered where that is or at what level.
Whilst I admire them for it, I'm currently struggling to get motivated for yet another 'planned' average season at the 4th level.

It was Sisu Is Saving Us' (see what I did there ?) and at the time it appeared they did.
Unfortunately I did not realise they were saving us for the 'fishes'.
I'm now alone for the season (home and away) as all my travelling friends and family have pulled the plug.
Whilst I can rely on my 'football friends' for home matches (casino and stadium) I will be knocking away games on the head next seasons as I've never been a loner. ;)

Funny how They all conveniently forget this and skip the question when asked.
I even know what Nick's reply would be:)

Six of my mates renewed yesterday.[/QUOTE Tell me one other relegated club that expects a drop off of those figures in any division. I for one have never suggested a boycott (do not need to do that Sisu are the best that) . I have not missed many home games in the last 60 years but said before If a shop kept selling me bad goods would i keep going back. Show me better goods Ie. performances and I will come but i won't give them money up front I want to see what I am getting for it been conned to many times by these cowboys. There are very few if any judging others .I really hope you all enjoy your Saturday afternoons if enjoyment comes back so will I Pick and chose till then

Saw today Fulham's early bird price is £299 for possible Premier League football.

Wow, what a bargain ours are. League Two for, ah yes, £299.

You might think that would be the logical thing but look what happened last season when they said the break even was 11k. As soon as we were averaging over 14k they moved the goalposts saying they had miscalculated. Instead of increasing the playing budget they actually slashed it again.
I think the budget was already decided for next season as top 8 as they knew we were down months ago, expect we will average better than Top 8 attendance wise. Robins is unlikely to see any of the Wembley windfall either which certainly wasn't budgeted for this season. Meanwhile Shitsu will continue to charge high interest on the loans they have "leant" the club while not paying back any of said loan. Viscous circle. It won't be long before we are in Orients shoes of playing 80% of the youth team as Pro's are too expensive in wages.

That is fair enough, but I don't go to games for SISU, I go to games for Coventry City!

As much as I hate the slimeballs SISU, and wish we get new owners..... I am afraid more people should take the blame for relegation this season, SISU, Russell Slade, Mark Venus and the Players for me as the biggest culprits, all equally contributed to a terrible year.
