Massive problem and that's the truth to this sham so far. It was confirmed last night that TM doesn't believe in brexit, now that's all well and good but when she is leader of brexit negotiations and Pm of this country going through the biggest historical change for decades then it's absolutely shocking.
She wants to give the EU as much as possible and suck up beyond reasonable acceptance. I said this on June 24th last year we need a brexit PM and someone who genuinely believes brexit is the right decision. Right now we have a manager who at the start of the season thinks we will be relegated. It doesn't work. May as well have Mart in charge of brexit.
May will be gone by Christmas. I have little doubt now.
Well it starts off with the small things. I and many others have to have 2 passports to ensure our rights. My kid won’t be coming on an exchange visit to Coventry. The English course in the schools may use Ireland and the USA as the main themes instead of life in the UK.. Not exactly suffering, but the beginning of a cultural split.
The coalition will have more than 52%, but as it is Merkel you only count her party votes. BTW the pro EU parties got nearly 90%, but you talk about a 12,5% sceptical, but not totally 100% anti EU and mainly a protest vote as if were a huge victory. Grendel thinks that over 2 million people have become Nazis overnight. Amazing how one ignores real democracy.

Until now Britain was looked upon in a favourable light. Even exchange trips to Coventry were looked upon as positive. Now Britain is no longer an EU partner ( from 2019 ) and it will looked at differently. Or do you expect us to increase cultural activities and friendship contacts because of Brexit?
Yes a coalition. Germany has been ruled by coalitions for years. It is the normal situation. The Jamaica coalition will be a novum though and having an opposition party in the Bundestag with known racists, nazis in it, is unusual even for people in my age group. But, over 2 million of their voters were protesting the 2015 handling of the refugee crisis. If that becomes less of an issue because the major parties introduce some form of repatriation of people who are not classed as genuine asylum seekers, then they will fade away again. The right wing hard core is and was around 5% - without the protest votes.
Well that is a good idea for once ;-). I reckon I could get some movement from the EU on things like unskilled immigration, abuse of benefits and better control of EU spending - simply because there are other groups that want these things ( e.g. FDP and CSU in Germany ). I would offer to throw Brexit in the bin once and for all with an immediate stop to all negotiations pending progress on my points. Then I would go to the political parties of various countries, who after the cock up on Brexit, may now be willing to support the UK on order to stop Brexit.

It has decision making powers which the electorates in individual countries have no influence on whatsoever. junker is a prime example. A revolting little man whose not been approved of by a single uk resident and he makes laws which influence the uk

There are lots of places where savings can be made. The negotiations for the next EU budget begin in 2018. There will have to be considerable savings. Good, the EU will become more efficient. One thing they shouldn’t skimp on is bringing Europe together starting with the youth. I‘m a member of a pro British lobby group and we have committed to pushing Deutsch Britisch Friendship despite Brexit.

Not even sure about the younger voters. Labour bought their votes. But after the election they could see that what they were promised wouldn't have happened.
I can see May serving her purpose and then going. If Corbyn is still in charge of Labour the Tories will get back in. He has no charisma. He looks like the dirty old man who stares at the young ladies. Labour has much better than him. Find another Bliar and we have a chance. Another Brown and you can forget it.

The EU doesn't care about the youth. Their policies has killed youth employment in many countries. That is why they have to leave their families and move to another country. The Euro is killing economies of many countries just to benefit Germany. But Juncker still pushes the Euro onto new joiners knowing what it will do to them. Because once their economy goes tits up they are reliant on the EU.

He was democratically elected by an electoral college and cannot pass laws. How do you get that all federal organisations have to be centralist and right wing? The point of a federation is that individual states have some powers for local matters and the central government controls the state. Germany is a federal state which happens to have a centre right administration, but it doesn’t have to be always centre right and is not always centre right. The USA, also a federal state, is governed by a right wing clown at the moment, but Obama was more centre right ( which why the right wing describes him as a Marxist ).
The representatives of the UK electorates were of one of the 2 countries that voted against Juncker. 26 countries voted for Juncker. It’s democracy... get over it.
Juncker is a civil servant, and like British civil servants is not voted on by the public.

Of course the EU cares about youth. You cannot blame everything on the EU. That is lazy. Many EU countries always had employment problems, especially in the country regions. Others are still emerging from years of communism. How the hell can they compete with the West. They have made great strides, but it will take years to reduce youth unemployment, in the meantime they have the freedom to try there luck anywhere in Europe. I wish them the best and the EU should keep trying to bring people together and encourage people to speak other European languages to help finding jobs when they leave school or university.
The Euro has forced economic stability on countries that were in a constant mess. Yes, they are in a different sort of mess now, but that is because geographical and economic factors that were there before the Euro. There is little inflation and the risk and cost of fluctuating exchange rates has been removed. We all got hit in 2008. Ask the British government what happened to the money tree and they will talk about the need for austerity. No different in the Eurozone.
The Euro is still here. Let’s see how it develops. It is ludicrous to suggest that one man is pulling all the strings in a cunning plan to make countries bankrupt. This is Daily Mail and Express rolled into one.

Most Countries take lots of money out of the EU. Germany does very well out of the EU. What chance did we ever have of getting what was best for us?
We had a democratic vote on staying in or leaving the EU. It didn't go the way the Germans or the EU wanted. So you can't get over it. Yet you say we should when it costs us many billions a year and our say is as much as countries the size of one of our cities or those who take billions out that don't want change.
