If it really is you, one of my favourite ever Coventry City related moments was at villa away, the game when Moldovan scored.
They had practice goals out and my dad pointed out that you lot weren't by the goal for once. No sooner had he said it they picked the goal up and moved it right by you.

Surely all of the NOPM brigade would come flocking back, after all none of their money would be going to SISU.

We will obviously then have 30k gates every home match (based on all of the supporters who went to Wembley), generating enough revenue to build a squad capable of getting out of this league, and also League One, and be competitive (mid table-ish) in The Championship. Dale and the consortium would then sell the club off to Red Bull or whoever to get us to the Premiership....and then I wake up

If someone else took over the club and ran it like they really cared and it was their only priority. There would be a definite increase in attendance without a shadow of a doubt.

At 2am? Did you know if him before, if he is from down your way?
No, I was just going to bed last night when I spotted a Facebook PM, it was from a guy
I’ve known a long time ‘huge City fan & from Coventry, we aren’t best mates just pals
But as I’ve said I have no reason to disbelieve him.
Anyway, apparently he is working in some capacity for Dale Evans and was present
During talks late last night, the conclusion of which was apparently an agreement between
SISU and he for the club.
Would I stake my life on it ‘no’ but as I say I don’t think this guy would be telling porkies either.

I do agree. My only concern is, would many of the stayaways move the goalposts though. Instead of the "I'll come back when SISU have gone' philosophy, turn in to 'I'll come back once this consortium has shown it is investing x million'. Will it be like the Gillingham homecoming: everybody shows up to herald the new arrival, yet at the next opportunity to support, 15,000 go missing....will we see 28k show up for the first game under the consortium to show 'potential', but then game 2 sees 12k (still a good crowd for League 2 admittedly)? All hypothetical obviously.

Is that your main concern, the fans? jesus wept..

Dale Evans: I want to buy the club, please name your price

SISU: Ok then

.....

Deal verbally agreed. He'll have done very well to get through to Sepalla where many others have failed. She won't even entertain Hoffman and he used to work for her.

Hoffman never worked for Sisu. He was on the board of directors at CCFC

I would be amazed if you haven't nailed it there. Are you bugging his phone?!

Im not suprised people are sceptical! Everything went quiet with Hoffman then all of a sudden on friday a guy with a 'big windfall' says he wants to buy the club, next minute hes already agreed a fee... these things take months. I can live in hope though i guess

It didn't take Sisu months did it?

Those doubting the money, he said the other day he is no longer acting alone and is infact now a consortium of 4, my bet would be that he’s rallied with Hoffman
Yep. Exactly my thinking too. Hoffman came up short with his offer and maybe, just maybe this Dale Evans money (if indeed he has actually got the money) takes him over the line.
