I voted leave not for benefits to this country in 2019 or 2029 for that matter but to begin a process that will one day be able to protect us from the spiralling and burgeoning world population that will overwhelm this little island if measures are not introduced soon. There has to be an end to the cycle of wanton destruction of the landscape for housing and infrastructure sooner or later. Mankind in general has to start to rein itself in before we've passed the point of no return with the environment we live in. Controls on immigration is just the beginning for me, we need incentives for people to procreate responsibly and look after their elder relatives themselves more in the future.

Most people are unable to afford the facilities or room their houses to take care of their parents. Also, most people need to work and are unable to stay at home and care for loved ones.it's a nice though, but impractical in this country.

Of course there wasn't a plan in place. They never expected to lose the referendum. Voting out was deemed the wrong answer.

Not if Norway has anything to do with it. They’ve openly said that they don’t want us because we’re too big and it would shift the balance.

Would EFTA membership allow us to negotiate our own trade deals or would we have to negotiate trade deals with EFTA as an EFTA member?

What contribution would we have to make to the EU as a member of EFTA?

Would we have to adapt EU law as an EFTA member?

Would we be a member of the schengen area as an EFTA member?

Would we have to accept free movement of people with the EU as an EFTA member?

Because most people who voted leave didn’t vote for these things. How palatable will many in the leave camp with these issues as EFTA members?

It’s that long ago I honestly couldn’t say what I did or didn’t mean. However plausible you’re explanation sounds. Either way I have no problem admitting I was wrong. I’m at least big enough to do that. Whatever else I might be. Unlike the pair of clowns who bring it up who somehow think that single issue proves I’m wrong on everything. If anything it proves they’re wrong on what was originally being discussed and not being big enough to admit it they bring that up instead.

Certainly in the border counties and towns there’s no hunger for anything to change regards the border. It’s actually something Protestants and Catholics are united on in my experience. I mentioned some time ago I have family who now have an Irish passport. Something unthinkable not that long ago but they feel that they need to prepare for every eventuality given the uncertainty and if you work in the south which most of my cousins and they’re children do it’s a sensible thing to do.
