Grangemouth was losing serious money. He took over the business that included Grangemouth. He offered to put hundreds of millions of pounds in to save the plant and save jobs. But he also needed help from the workforce to make changes. When the workers refused was he just supposed to keep a loss making business going to keep the workers happy? In the end they agreed with the union to make sime changes. Now their jobs are secure.
