So where is the legislation that says that?

Answer is none and if you were on a campaign and made such a statement it would be deemed as saying all people would pay more tax - it could uk fact be that even if legislation was passed its a misleading statement. So as you say misleading statements are lies.

I mean imagine putting that message on a big red bus....

Well ask the government about that then.

How unusual for you to try and deflect when questions are asked about someone who is a part of the EU.

Yet another dodgy deal with links to Juncker.

You asked me and I told you. Where is the deflection? Anyway, who do you think is the better „player“ based on what we have been told and what we have seen: Davis or this guy!

Everyone - so not one person has accused him of the contrary in the whole universe - are you sure about that?

On what I have read in Astute‘s links. Has anyone said he is thick as mince and lazy as a toad? Seems to be the exact opposite.

Not on about Juncker now. It is someone not voted for that has a position that can't be taken away.

Look forward to how you defend this one.

Well, I asked you what was the outcome of the review of his appointment? That was supposed to be over in June. I would say that can give you a better reasoning either way on this appointment.

Here we go again. Davis is a nothing. He has no say in anything. Whereas.......

But how about everything else they have said?

Of course you don't want to discuss that.

So how about the majority of the EU being very unhappy about the way he engineered the role for himself?

Ah so everything is good and well. And he got the role he should have got and deserves?

Of course not.

Selmayr to keep his job despite warning shot from parliament

So he kept the position because many are worried that yet another fiasco could be massively bad for a fragile EU. And as stated before the role he engineered can't be taken away.

How about your most beloved Farage and his comment....

The complete lack of transparency that facilitated his elevation within 9 minutes from Juncker’s ‘Hitman’ to the most powerful bureaucrat in Brussels has united Eurosceptics who are livid and Euro-centralists who are embarrassed that this issue has rippled well beyond the Brussels Bubble.”

“The European Parliament is powerless to stop this nepotism, and are now just preening in order to calm the waters of public unease. The threat by Juncker to resign if Selmyar goes is a vacuous one and lacks all credibility.

Would you like to expand on this?

Even Juncker was surprised to find out that he had engineered his position. Most are unhappy with what he has done. But we will come to this once you start defending him and the way he was allowed to get the position.

I haven’t defended the way he got this position, and I have pointed out that he is supposedly intelligent, dedicate, diligent etc. Good points for someone holding a top position. You want to call it defending him. I call it pointing out facts. Now, back to David Davis, or indeed our top civil servant, Oliver Robbins... how do they compare? Who would you rather have in your team?

Irrelevant. Don't you realise he's President of the European Commission, has the full support of 27 nations and is hellbent on making life as difficult for the UK as possible. That makes him a good guy, at least in German marts eyes.

Well, I hope they sort this out. The guy seems qualified for the job, but it is a weird way of doing things. I am surprised at Farage describing it as nepotism though. His best mate, „the Donald“, has appointed his daughter and son-in-law to the White House. I would have thought that he would have been more concerned at that which is true nepotism.

He is supported by 27 countries as opposed to 1 country. Seems to be popular.

Grendel 0-1 Mart (Grendel OG, 90+3')

Not if we cannot achieve a deal there will be no transition - great try though

What extra conditions? What must we do extra to get a Norway deal?
Are we after a Norway deal?

Maybe we are after a Canada or Japan deal.

If there are no extra conditions why has no deal on trade been agreed? Unless they just have yet to announce it

I wasn't aware that the EU has started imposing restrictions on the UK's ability to invest in infastructure and public services. Blimey, it really has got out of hand.
Thought you were linking spending on infrastructure to us leaving the EU. If it does increase then it is a positice whether in or out obviously

No. The devil is in the detail. You say the way you word it but your theory, and it is a theory, is that inflation will remain at current levels.
Yes...the devil is in the detail...& there is an immense amount of detail in everything the EU does, says, agrees or legislates upon. So much detail that the devils become ingrained & invisible...just how some like it

I see it is your normal point of defending anyone dodgy in the EU. Pick someone irrelevant on the subject.

Yes he was intelligent enough to get a post nobody thought he was after which was a post hardly anyone but Juncker knew was available. A post that wasn't even made available to anyone.

So he has got a post that nobody can remove him from. Just like Juncker.

Why is it the dodgy ones in the EU get positions that they can't be removed from however dodgy they are or however much the rest of the EU is unhappy with them?

Then you preach how good the EU is and can't understand why some people have a massive dislike for the way it is run.

Maybe because we want our cake and eat it. In other words we want extra conditions.

I understand that. I have never defended Juncker. I am not now. He is an old fox. Knows the rules inside out and how to get round them.

Doesn’t alter the fact that the EU is more beneficial to us than being out of it.

What extra conditions do we have to fulfill what Japan and Canada don’t? Give me a comparison of a deal where we have to have worse conditions than someone else with the same deal.

You mean 'we' as in the UK? I don't see much wrong with us eating our cake. It is ours after-all. I can understand & sympathise with that.
The EU takes some of our & other's' cake, & eats it or gives it to someone else to eat to satisfy it's own agenda. That is why you understand & sympathise with it.

However, I agree there is a possibilty we the UK might be trying to impose some conditions of pur own.

The trade appears to be tied into free movement of people as a condition...will that do?

The SM and CU are not the UK‘s cake. They are EU institutions and we are leaving them, but want the benefits of being in them. Cake and eat it. We’re not getting it. Our own choice.

Yes it is...but to rubbish/diminish it by aligning it so closely to articles in the Sun or Mail...that isn't really fair apart from in MartWorld

Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

The article is written in the same tone as Mail and Sun. Monster, NAZI grandfather etc.. the comparison is justified.
