The area of concern brexit will provide for JLR is Korea as it sells 15,000 or so cars a year there - that was always a red flag for the company as its highly profitable and part of the European FTA and has really strict import policies.

Again I think common sense will have to prevail as Korea automotive sales are big here. Admittedly though the Korean government is difficult
From my own experience, I have found doing business there difficult, full stop.

Although it never made the press they almost stop supply there about 18 months ago due to a technicality over a MY homologation

I don't know much about coin traders but I wouldn't have thought Brexit would impact them too much.
I would agree.

For me one of the worst things about Brexit is that I now know who Mark Francois is, prior to all this I was in blissful ignorance of that man- although thats slightly offset by my fascination at just how small he actually is.

We signed a continuation trade deal with South Korea last June. Fucking hell brexiteers are clueless. You wank yourself off over a nothing, speculative news article and completely missed the actual “good news” Brexit trade announcement that was very publicly announced in the summer (it was the first such continuity deal signed with an Asia country) even though it’s apparently crucial to your industry.

funny you should mention him, (not someone I have a lot of time for), the coin man we were talking about said Mark Francois has been rude to him/about him on air a couple of times but off air he is very civil and often stops to chat to him, he said the same about Rees Mogg. When one of the pro Brexit marches was getting out of hand due to some right wing thugs who turned up he said Rees Mogg helped to get him clear of the march because he thought he was in danger.

I don't like to give praise to the likes of Rees Mogg but credit where its due!

Whenever I think of Rees Mogg I think of what someone called him on twitter which always stuck with me- "the haunted pencil"

And I'll also be fair to him- he gets branded as someone who 'moved to Dubin'- thats not really true, his company set up a new office in Dublin but he didn't actually do what he was accused of.

I don't like the man based on what I see & read/ hear, but as you say, it helps to stick to facts on what they actually have done as opposed to chucking the accusations & random hatred around.

I have a neighbour who is a dead ringer for him, so much so I actually thought it was him when I first saw him - Francois actually has an Italian mother.

the first time I saw him I genuinely thought it was a parody, he produced a letter- something to do with the EU I assume- and ripped it up on screen saying "my father did not fight in two world wars to be told what to do by the Germans" or something like that- which for me summed up the whole brexit mentality entirely, living in the past. I would never have believed he was an MP, I thought he was a protester or something.

In fact its right there on google- here he is exhibiting the classic full on 'gammon-rage'
Mark Francois tears up German Airbus CEO's letter in outburst

He's looking right ahead in that interview, the interviewer must have been about 3 feet tall

Why do you keep referring to pork joints?

That should be a case study for the need to read an article as well as the headline! Its one of several contingency plans drawn up by a now departed Chief Exec in the best case scenario although Nissan deny it even exists!

One thing stood out to me, the plan involves increasing its share of the UK market from 4% to 20%. Surely if it was that easy they would have already done it?

I know, I was wondering how anyone could actually read beyond the clickbait headline and not see its just pure dreamland stuff & 'blue sky thinking'

Where were you?
Don't think he is !
Reminds me of someone who has had some great debates and content on here in a couple of Incarnations before .
The depth and breadth of contribution is totally different to Mart .

Tbh he does pay more attention to the football side of things, mart lived and breathed the EU thread

You are! Stop lying to yourself
For you, Dom, I will be whoever you want me to be, I am not overly concerned. You know I remember people like you well from GMK, when they got turned over they also used to kind of get all stunned and wound up & then throw accusations around that I must actually be someone else- as if that somehow rendered the points being made as invalid.

So you tell me- does it make any difference whether I'm rob, Mart, Terry or any other name? I am interested to know what you think is changed by that. You could disappear and come back in a week calling yourself Des, you'd still make very little sense, nothing would actually change, now would it. And what actually is your issue with this guy Mart, who from what I can tell is a German businessman who once posted on here.

Now I have to go pick up the kids, but keep your eyes peeled as I might come back on later as Dermot or Oliver or something, give you something to do :)

You never really ranted on here before Brexit day did you ?
But now you'll come back on here asap because gobbing off behind your keyboard is far, far more important than spending time with your kids.
You sad sad loser. Priorities need addressing pal.

Child number one safely deposited for tonight’s lesson. Plenty more running around to do yet..

But anyway, good evening, my simpleton stalker! Just FYI, I’m not going to mention anything about kids or family, because you really wouldn’t like them one bit, they aren’t 100% English ;)

I will never stop laughing at people that use the insult “you’re on a message board” while on a message board.

Back on already Not interested in the kids then ?
Playing the race card yet again . Dear oh dear. You're clearly the one with a race problem, not me . You've clearly got a chip on your shoulder about race for some reason. I think you should spend time with your kids rather than draw attention to their ethnicity on an post Brexit rant. If it's not migrants is something else on race.
Same old same old.

True, but he puts clearly puts his own ego before his kids. Or rather, he can't accept leaving the EU.

Are people really getting angry because ROS isn’t Mart?
No, I think.people are laughing at him for whoever he is. I personally think the style is very Terry Christianesque but I couldn't give toss who he is really. He's the big 'I am" on here right now and it's quite funny referring to racists, racists and racists.
