Yes he did
Seeing as we are playing this game... was he wrong or right on the Iraq War?
Was he right on apartheid? Yes or No.
Was he right on LGBT rights? Yes or No.
Was he right on campaigning for the release of the Birmingham 6 and Guildford 4 if you want to talk about the IRA. Yes or No.

Not saying he got everything right but then which MP has.

Just been o just eats and it looked like a few were delivering. Don't know whether they're actually open though
What about your neck of the woods?
My local one has been shut since 23rd March, noticed another one closed as well. Both Chinese chippies. The local one announced it was closing before official lockdown. I was wondering if it was because they were better informed about the actual situation in China.

This doesn't seem good, only 1% of applications to the governments emergency loan scheme have been processed according to the Sunday Times.

I said this at the time- it’s a mess. Furlough will be just the same.

Certain people on here- in their clamour to give the impression that we have done everything right- disputed the view that the government assistance schemes are fraught with risk and will be a massive mess. Just wait until the furlough claims start going in, it will be worse.

I am assuming that the people who argued the toss when it was pointed out that the government schemes were highly risky will choose not to comment.

Rubbish as usual - I I know people who have applied for furlough I’ve applied for people and it’s fine

That’s interesting. Which portal are you using to apply out of interest?

You know, seeing as you can’t apply until the end of April at earliest.

You’re a bullshitter :)

Nooe we’ve looked at it and we know exactly what the restrictions are and we are still paying laid off workers and have no worries whatsoever there will be a problem.

You on the other hand say you’ve got first hand experience, claim it’s a loan and not a grant (utter bullshit) say it’s going to be evaluated on cash flow criteria (my accountant laughed when I showed him that and said the HMRC criteria is clear for all to
See) and I’m sure having said you have experience then said you are working from home. The scheme I have no doubt will be paid and many companies have already furloughed staff including very big ones

So basically you lied, you were bullshitting. You haven’t claimed anything, have you?

I have furloughed staff and we will be getting money as the staff meet the criteria. Many staff have been furloughed across the country - your constant nonsense is trying to scare monger people into believing they are getting know money.

Claims you have made;

The scheme is a loan. It a grant - lie
The scheme is going to be evaluated by rules not yet declared by the government - lie
you have personal experience of the scheme - lie as you’ve been droning on about working from home

JLR are furloughing hourly paid and a small amount of staff on Monday. So they cannot work. Don’t tell me they are bullshitting

I can’t ever imagine a situation where I’d decide to show a post from this forum to my accountant.

It was a fair point as he seemed to have some knowledge and then clearly he didn’t

he’s lying. The application portal will not be live until at least the end of April, yet he said he’s already made claims. He’s bullshitting, the rest is just nonsense as he knows he’s badly rumbled

check the bottom of page one: “The online service you’ll use to claim is not available yet. We expect it to be available by the end of April 2020.”

Hahaha

Oh dear oh dear

There is nothing you won't say in order to defend the Tories

Just a blatant piece of bullshit

Embarrassing.

So you don’t think people have been furloughed?

I have no idea who you’re talking about.

I am calling you a big bullshitter because you said you’d already claimed when it’s impossible. So I’ll say it again- you’re a bullshitter. I don’t think any more needs to be said really.

How did you show it to your accountant? We’re in lockdown.

People in my local Facebook group now dishing out leftovers from their Sunday roast to any takers. Shit like that don't happen when its not a pandemic, why are people desperate to do that shit now?

Must have sent him a link. Probably asked him to like some of his posts while he was at it.

well look- I’m gonna be honest, I don’t really feel any joy in outing that particular piece of bullshit when the whole world is in a bloody mess- he’s got his views & told a porky but we’ve all done it, and that’s it. Time to move on, I was planning on no aggro today :)

I’m sure what grendel meant was that many people have been placed on furlough- that’s correct. But you can’t claim yet and the risk is that you may have lots of people furloughed then not be accepted, as we are seeing with the loans. And it will be thoroughly audited. Just a mistake and I’m actually boring myself even talking about it, so time for something else- where’s Coventrian when you need him

What a sad fucker. I know we’re in lockdown and people are bored but how lonely must you be to send a link to your accountant to a football forum you live an imaginary life on. Thinking about it it was probably an imaginary accountant anyway to go with the imaginary application to a portal that’s not yet up and running. In the words of Mr T “I pity the fool”.

At the risk of being told I’m talking sanctimonious twaddle again, it’s because under these circumstances we realise that the life we normally lead is fucked up and doesn’t need to be that way, and we need to change the way we live.
