Yeah I bet all the doctors and nurses are sat around going “can’t wait for the bloke that’s defunded us and laughed at refusing us pay rises to get back to work!”

Genuinely getting to the stage where it’s more embarrassing than any of the nutty Corbyn fans. I give it a week before we’re seeing Boris poems and bad drawings of him.

The FT reports that ministers are expecting the return of their leader on May 7, coinciding with announcements of an easing of lockdown restrictions ahead of the May 8 bank holiday and the 75th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) day

Taken from the new European website.

Now the NHS is going to run out of gowns within hours. Said it before but you’d have to be a fucking idiot to vote Tory then go and go and clap the NHS, they’re the same tossers who were cheering with delight after pay rises were rejected.

think you'll find most of them fit that criteria.

We need Boris back ASAP! Will lift morale massively once he’s back

For some. Definitely not for others. Why would the NHS workers/doctors etc see it as a massive morale boost to have an idiot who got himself hospitalised for breaking his own government guidelines on preventing putting pressure on the NHS? Actions which undoubtedly will have led to others also flouting them following his example.

Plus in terms of his own health he needs to come back as and when he's fit enough to do so. His recovery should be the only thing making the decision on his return. Otherwise he runs the risk of running himslef down and ending up with something else as his body struggles to cope.

If he turns up the day before announcing the easing of restrictions its not going to do much to dispel the idea that he's not been as ill as has been made out / is avoiding scrutiny / its all a PR exercise.

Yep. Pretty much what I suggested would happen before he was hospitalised. Not saying at all that he was faking the severity of it (although to go from death's door to back home in two days would be pretty remarkable) and I'm glad he's recovering, but he may well use his recovery as a handy reason to pick and choose whenever he comes back and it won't be before things look brighter and he can come out and beat his own drum.

It's because the twats are obsessed with getting bit ticket companies like Burberry to make stuff and they take ages to get ready. They are ignoring smaller manufacturers who can specialise in turning things out speedily

Labour will never have an election win under there current guise. The working class are not interested in the left wing. The working class have deserted labour in there droves. I guess if your left wing and working class labour are great at the moment, but not for the majority of us in this country. I'm.a floating voter. I have no affiliation to any party. I'd not vote for labour though until they shake off this leftie tag. Labour have forgotten who they're supposed to represent. I work in manufacturing, arent labour supposed to be the party for the likes of me? The party for the people? Nobody I work with votes labour. I'd vote labour again in the future but not at the moment. The way the labour party is represented on here is how the floating voter sees them. Frothing left wingers who scream and shout nazi, racist, bigot at you if you disagree with them or dare raise a genuine question about something. This is why floating voters like me are kind of forced to vote Tory. I'm not getting pulled into a discussion about all this by the labour party 'enthusiasts' on here as you just cant seem to reason with them. They seem to be more into the labour party than they are the city. Like I've said, labour need to win back us,the working class neutral types we dont feel like you represent us anymore,no the Tories dont represent the working class but we know what the Tories are about, looking after the Tories but at least they dont pretend to represent the working class like labour do. Que the usual frothing idiots.
My thoughts exactly they just don’t get it do they?

You’re not neutral though, you’ve admitted you’re anti-Labour. I just pointed out that if you’re honest you can’t explain why. “Anti working class” is clearly bollocks. At best you mean “pro immigrant”.

Come on, prove me wrong. What Labour policies are anti working class and what Tory ones aren’t?

If you’ve paid any attention at all to my ranting about Labour you’ll know the last thing I want is to carry on as we are, but that doesn’t mean not calling our pure bollocks when I see it.

I don’t give a fuck who you vote for mate, but I’ll keep calling it how I see it no matter how many of you snowflakes start crying.

Edit: hang the fuck on. You keep boasting about how minted you are and what a massive house you live in. Why do you give a fuck about the working class? You’re clearly not one of them.
But aren’t most of the Labour Party too,Minted 2/3 homes as well eg Corbyn,McDonnell,Lady Nugee,Starmer they’ve all got several homes.
Tory/Labour they’re all in it together!!

No and they never will. The standard reply to us the floating vote is to call us thick or racist. You know, the usual bollocks. They're an unelectable joke but deep down these on here know it. I love throwing in a couple of grenades and watch them all wet their pants. Bitter bastards.

Apparently, we’ll actually not apparently, there is workers furloughed sitting at home that work for smaller manufacturers who don’t need to reconfigure large operations before they can start production. If the government’s going to pay them they may as well do it by awarding contracts to the companies they work for.

The irony of course is that they keep going on about wartime mentality and then don’t use cottage industry to it’s full effect like we did in WW2.

Do you think the Coventrian - who is own admission a person who has little formal. Education and from traditional labour stock - someone labour need to appeal to going forward or are labour too superior to want his vote?

You're agreeing with that but said you could vote for Labour under Starmer.
Coventrians said he's a floating voter but doesn't want a Labour government

I'm sorry but the thinking on this from the pair of you is all over the fucking shop.

Astute says he’d never vote anything but labour but can’t bring himself to vote at all. What is causing that?

No of course they should want to appeal to him and gain his vote. But equally Coventrian is happy to champion a group of people that will make HIS LIFE WORSE - and he bemoans anyone that may try and offer a way forward as some kind of lunatic fringe. Not because he actually has looked at the detail to make this informed decision, but because he’s bought some shitty tag line fed to him...

And if he has done so he could at any point share one piece of that wisdom..... just one....
