NHS planning is the same thing.

Still if there's a conspiracy theory out there then someone will jump on it. You're never alone in the internet

No it’s not? How are you consistently this wrong?

NHS planning is about knowing where outbreaks are occurring, track and trace is about informing people who have been in contact with potential cases.

As the article states other countries are using the Apple/Google solution for track and trace and it works for that better than our system.

No one has mentioned a conspiracy theory, just standard software engineering. Operating system restrictions and battery life aren’t a conspiracy you loon.

How ironic given your total lack of perspective

lol, it was only a matter of time. Any credibility you had on this topic was shot to pieces several weeks ago- "yes but would you rather live in Italy?", "yes but have you even been to South Korea?", (not forgetting the legendary comments about Chinese slaves with special infecting powers & Russian soldiers on the prowl) hyping up the "experts" and herd immunity and saying that we had done as well as any other western country- strangely you've gone quiet on all of those points- wisely I guess now its clear that all of it was gibberish. Your input on the subject reads like an exhibition on how to misread, misjudge and let nationalism blind you to the searingly obvious, and the South Korea/ Italy remarks will follow you around for a long time, filed neatly alongside "Taxi for Robins" and "Get fucking Hiwula on".

When people start saying we should boycott China, talk bollocks about suing for reparations and 'making them pay', some perspective badly needs to be applied, as uncomfortable as that might be for you.
Not commented on China at all. You're pedalling the same I'm holier than thou nonsense that you do on the EU in out thread. . Here you are giving us the same rhetoric yet again. It's incredibly boring and predictable. Shall I bump the EU thread for you so you can spout the same line on there again ?

I haven’t gone quite on anything - only David advocated herd immunity. One report issued recently says Italy has at least 10 times more deaths than stated and the analysis won’t be complete for many months anyway

People by the way were on the football side getting really pissed off with your “contribution” on match threads - one who I respect a lot more than you couldn’t be bothered commenting anymore and he actually goes to games

Of course you go to games also don’t you? Well now you do though actually you said you’ve hardly been in the country since 2016 but then oddly you have - how odd

You remember intrinsic details of football matches when you were barely 2 - you have a picture with Ian Wallace when you were a foetus - odd

The election frothing in twitter was hilarious. You claimed Robert Peston was a Tory stooge employed by Cummings. It’s cringeworthy paranoia

Your “story” has more holes than the proverbial Swiss cheese

lol- getting a tad wound up I see. I am genuinely glad you're still getting your letters of support though.

oh dear

Not surprising when I think 8 of the 18 contracts were given to the Vote Leave data analysts, the Cambridge Analytica crew. You'd need to be a bit naive to download that and not expect to have your data used for nefarious means. And funnily enough its very similar to the one they tried to roll out in USA where it sneakily asked for your permission to access all data on your phone, forever.
Interesting, or should that be worrying, that as well as wanting all your data now they aren't providing any means for you to request its deletion when this is all over.

Its like being in a time warp. We're back to we're right and everyone else has got it wrong.

are Italy now the only country making no attempt to record deaths out of hospital across Europe? Why?
What a surprise that you're doing your best to deflect after today's news.

Anyway, back to reality - https://www.thelocal.it/20200503/italys-death-toll-jumps-after-non-hospital-deaths-added-in

Yes, not all deaths are going to be recorded, but to claim that no effort is being back whatsoever is ridiculous. All countries in Europe are going to have under-reported figures, and in reality both the UK and Italy are going to have much higher numbers.

Couldn't help but feel that from the guy to Hancock's right at yesterday's press conference .
Also thought the opening question from a member of the public was excellent and unfortunately the answer followed the usual Hancock modus to obfuscate the response .
It was a simple 'Are we in the next phase going to Crush or suppress contagion to help the NHS as before "..
What we got was about 200 words that at the Very end sounded like it may be the former point but just was not clear.
Wriggle room I expect.

So only a few hundred have died outside hospitals? Wow
Your attempts to deflect away from the unfolding tragedy in the UK and score cheap political points is pretty shameful. Both countries are going to have much higher death counts.

Eh? I am saying Italy are across Europe - other than Germany - showing far less deaths outside hospital. That’s a fact - why so defensive

You claimed no effort was being made whatsoever, which simply isn’t true.
There are people calling for investigations into the true number of deaths as well.

Well adding a token number of deaths I suspect.l suspect you’d be all over Mr Johnson if he made that statement wouldn’t you?

And yet more bollocks to deflect away from reality.

So if the uk government had produced the same data as Italy regarding deaths outside hospitals would you have reacted in the same way? They are doing their best?

Would you?

And yet again more deflection away from today’s news and a government that has overseen a crisis despite the warnings and one that you’ve blindly and unquestionably backed at every stage throughout.

I actually think the 5 Stat lot are useless and have always said so, whereas you’ve actually voted in the incompetent lot.

Probably not the best look for Hancock to tell the Shadow Minister for Mental Health, who is also an A&E doctor, to watch her tone when she questions the impact of the lack of testing.

Interestingly while Hancock was telling her she was wrong Sir Patrick Vallance was telling the Commons Health Select Committee it would have been "beneficial" to have ramped up testing. And Jenny Harries told them "things would have been done differently" if test capacity had not been limited.

Is today a 'had enough of experts' day?

Yes Alan Im the same as him in that respect
I would never be able to stand idly by and watch silently whilst I believed a humongous colossal National FU was being made bringing harm on the population even though I may be in a minority .
Certainly If I thought I was employing wisdom over emotion .
I certainly recognise that it is ok to hold the opposing view based on the same precepts .
May seem or look concieted.but really is genuine.

Hancock is such a lightweight, I've reached the conclusion that the Tories just are not bright enough to have fucked this up by design. They're just fucking stupid.
