Tbh if it’s safe for kids to go back to school and the right procedures are in place in the weeks to come, why shouldn’t they?

Not really. You can count doing a throat swab and a nasal swab at the same time as 2 tests. Johnson's commitment was for 100k individuals a day. Failed

His commitment was for 100k tests a day, which in the last 2 weeks has mostly achieved.... it should have been a lot sooner though we were way to slow at testing

No it wasn’t. It was for 100k people tested a day and he said it repeatedly. It’s extremely well documented. You can choose your own opinion but you can’t choose your own facts.

I'm guessing you also agree with Hancock that they put a protective ring around care homes....

Some of those two swabs are often tested more than once and the government has been double, triple counting those too.

Yes but it’s still 177k tests done?
Its not tests done, that was established the last time the number suddenly jumped. That time it turned out they'd mailed home testing kits to thousands of Conservative party members and counted them with no idea if they'd even be returned.
The health secretary, Matt Hancock, has written to members of a Conservative Party email list inviting them to apply for a coronavirus test
And in any case the promise was number of people not number of tests. They haven't hit that once this month yet have promised to hit 200K a day next month.

Sadiq Khan getting rinsed by Piers Morgan

At least he's had the bollocks to go on TV and try and explain himself though he's not doing a very good job.
No government minister for interview again
Fucking spineless, leaderless government is a shambles

Because they're answerable to the UK electorate.

Johnson tried to tell Starmer about his tone of voice yesterday and got reminded they were discussing the deaths of tens of thousands of people.

Like you Johnson doesn't think that's that important.

They should in theory - but it’s not safe yet and there is no evidence that any procedures are ready to go to support a safe return. Add to that the impossibility of socially distancing in education environments.

It’s not the right time yet. If people think it is they’ve clearly never worked in education or they’re an idiot.

Here we go again, trying to move away from the point like you always do...... they go on every other channel for interviews just not GMB because of the way Piers acts like a child and screams at them, he’s an embarrassment

5live interviewed some nursery nurses today.
They're also got a right job on their hands.
Social distancing impossible with babies and toddlers.
It's a minefield.
Every day when I think of the repercussions of this virus the scenarios are getting worse and worse.

Why do you think government ministers shouldn't be answerable to UK public?
Watch Hancock telling Allin-Khan to change her tone in the house of commons.
Tell me was there anything wrong with the way she spoke to him (any normal person would conclude there wasnt),and then explain why government ministers think they shouldn't be challenged?

And if you think they shouldn't be challenged why did Michael Gove say they should and told Morgan to keep holding them to account?

Why do you care more about Morgan challenging ministers than the number of deaths?
And before you say you don't you get more emotive about Morgan's tone of questioning the the mortality figures so it's the only conclusion I can come to.

Every other news presenter actually lets them have at least 20 seconds to answer, Piers on the other hand gives them about 3 before acting like a twat and screaming them down....

If you want to watch them get challenged put sky news on

No he answered the question

They should be questioned and not just the soft soap bollocks they get normally.

Morgan isn't the only one they have boycotted.

You said sorry yet for lying about testing targets?

It has heart failure as a said effect and has shown very very little use against covid-19 in the limited testing so far.

A drug that causes heart failure is not the way to go.
