I think rather than blame Robins... Maybe supporters should look at certain fan favourite players who fail to convert the simplest of chances and in general, sitters missed by others.

The actual problem you have is we didn't win.. We didn't win because we missed sitters... You then put the blame on the manager for not changing the game to win the match.
Our tactics were enough to win the match... Whose at fault?

Yep, well said.

Robins bringing on Shipley for Hamer is not the reason Hyam missed from 4 yards.

It’s a fair point. We constantly miss absolute gifts. We should be doing a lot better in front of goal. That doesn’t invalidate the idea that we’re not proactive enough towards the end of the game though.

It's hard Robins knows that the player son the bench aren't going to put in a Ronaldo esq performance and win the match for us in a flash bit of genius... The games in the balance, we look solid and still a threat... Why change it, the changes made the team weaker really... It's all we have

This is a good point could perhaps should have been three but this is a tough month against the four top teams. We proved today we can compete and out play the so-called better teams in this division, we are a fox in the box goal scorer away from being a bloody good team (who isn’t) a week now before Cardiff perhaps Walker will be back for that.

Pre match : would love a point

Post match: points not enough

Very strange mentality.
Never 3 points for me pre match every match.
Thats the way I lay and cant help it.
Mind you I dont get annoyed anymore.
Buzz is dying off.
Cant watch it on the tele with empty seats just does nothing for me. All that piped noise is just horrible.

Apologies if already mentioned but did anyone else think it was a penalty on Dacosta when he seemingly got unnecessarily pushed in the back by Sarr?

The definition of retard: Delay or hold back in terms of progress or development. - That is exactly his approach to substitutions.

It gets used fashionably and therefore people just look at it without any real context, looking to get upset, largely because they don't like the manager being criticised.
Stop trying to justify what you said, it’s not a good look

Yea but a point can't be enough pre match and not enough post match... That's mental thinking 🤣
At the start of the year, your boss tells you that you can't get a pay rise this year (you like your job and you're happy to be there, so you're ok with that). In the middle of the year he then tells you there is a chance of a pay rise after all! So you work your nuts off and do a job deserving of a pay rise, only to be told at the end of the year there's no payrise after all.

Would you be ok with that because at the start of the year you thought you weren't getting one anyway?

Sometimes he says things that are completely baffling. Just got a point against a team with 10 times the budget, ROBINS OUT. Ridiculous

Let's be honest he wanted it done within 10 games this season but wisely didn't explicitly say so. Now he has.

i think it depends on the opposition, holding on to what we have against a contender for the autos is fine as far as I'm concerned, do the same against Cardiff midweek if the game has followed a similar pattern as today and it's another story.

You don't even know the difference between a noun & a verb? Why am I not surprised...

We didn’t need to go two up front. The formation was working really well and we were outplaying them. What we needed to do was put fresh legs into the same formation 15 minutes earlier than we did.

Robins is too slow at making subs and always has been. His weakest attribute is changing games mid way through and I think that often means we drop points. Saying that doesn’t mean I want rid of him neither does it invalidate any of his achievements as he’s great at building a club.

Only on here can that be interpreted as a controversial statement because if you’re not 100% positive on everything then you’re a bet wetter. Absurd.

My comment was in direct response to the suggestion that he didn’t change it with a view to winning. Why else would he go two up front? And the caveat with the Gyo sub is that he offers something defensively on set pieces and holds it up. He could have brought on Bapaga in the same formation yes but he’s unproven and critically offers nothing defensively for the inevitable onslaught at the end. Personally I would have kept COH on and swapped Max for Gyo earlier but the subs made sense.

Yeah because that's the definition you were using it in. Good grief.

At the start of the year if somebody told me we'd draw with Watford at home I'd have said yes please

That's the bottom line

You've completely misunderstood again.

Again, easier route to take than digging yourself out of the hole you have dug trying to argue with me, realising that my points were entirely valid and you have nothing to say in return.

I'm not over forest either... It's such a shame we've really struggled to get our best team on the pitch this season... Im with you somewhat that we wouldn't be where we are now, but no team with our budget and resources can comfortably get through several key players being injured at once.. No team

Except I haven't. The way you used it was wholly incorrect & now your fast trying to backpedal.

Why not just admit it was a stupid thing to say in the heat of the moment?
