Bit early for that. Michie loves a lockdown though. Ive got no issue with people saying that we have to see whether the chain/link between cases and hospitalisations has been broken by the vaccination programme and if it hasn’t been sufficiently, then the 21 June should be delayed....but calling it now ?!! Shows an already skewed view in my eyes

This weeks data will probably be key to the decision. Let’s just hope things remain under control

I think the main difference between now and the 2 previous lockdowns is a vaccine which they are saying is what , 85% plus effective .

yeah, I wondered if they might end up just tweaking some of the 21 June removal of restrictions ie allow certain events but maybe with a requirement for negative tests pre event

Very sad .

We are however in a fortunate position with this vaccine where it has an extremely high success rate as opposed to the flu jab , which is successful but much less so, we still lose thousands a year even with a vaccine .

I made the point the other day that we will have to get to the point where there is an acceptable amount of deaths before there is a huge concern .

On average 43 die a day with flu (with vaccines )

So we need to get to a point where we understand what the covid 19 normal will be

Also it’s believed some contracted in before the 3 week period the vaccine takes full effect
