Not been on here today, but a proper good performance, let down again by a lack of people that can take their chances. We should have won, never mind lost

Sheaf MOM for us again. He’s been great the last few games.

As much as I like him and want him to come good, we’ve outgrown O’Hare and need more from someone playing in that position. It’s came to be that he’s the only one of our players I don’t want the ball passed to in the final third - particularly if we’re on the counter. The best we can hope for is he wins a free kick. He never scores or plays a killer ball. I get what he brings - he works hard but they all do. None of them ever let us down with that, but he hasn’t got that final bit of quality or composure.

i know we’ve not got money to bring players in, so need to work with that we’ve got, but I think someone else deserves a chance there.

Anyway, another good performance and we’re doing great generally. I know we’re punching above our budget, but we’re not out of the playoff contention yet. We’ll have to see how the news about Godden effects that though.

O hare created the best chance in the second half

We knock it around well but we just don't look like we carry a serious goal threat. QPR looked like they would score with almost every attack, we just don't carry that threat. Too many players are just not good enough if we want to push into the top 6, but it wont come without the investment from the owners.

Shipley scored a screamer. Had a good game, has come on loads since last season.

I thought it was a really good performance, some of our play was exceptional, unsurprisingly Sheaf was at the heart of all of it.

We obviously need to be much more clinical but also, although we dominated for the most part, we did give up 4 excellent chances which they took 2 of. Need to tighten that up.

Overall we aren't too far off.

Hmmm - he's only played against Peterborough before today & they're almost like a league one side - too early to say that he's come on loads

He did for waghorn. And he didn’t miss any chances either today. I’m talking more in general terms. What is it, 2 goals in 60 something games? His finishing and final ball has shown any improvement in 2 or3 years.

True. Didn't look out of place like he did last season, gotta keep it up.

hamer has scored the same and Allen consistently has with one exception averaged a goal a season - it’s the outgrown him comment that’s odd as he’s easily one of the most valuable assets we have

QPR should have put the game to bed in the first half - that Wallace sitter and was it Dykes who managed to head over from near point blank range? They have some serious quality in that team anyway.

We were very good in the second half, but we look quite one dimensional at the moment - everything is going through Kane.

Today’s game despite the result, made me realise how far we have come. Played them off the park for the majority of the game. Yes we missed that cutting edge and switched off for the 2nd goal.

That being said, it was a great performance and shows we can go toe to toe with anyone in the division.

Mid table finish this year, tie our new players to longer term deals and bring a couple in during the summer and we look the real deal

Sorry if it's already mentioned but has there been any news about the steward the medical staff were helping? It was right down the front of our stand and seeing them put the screens up was a worry.

Robins said he’s doing OK.
