Robins worse performance of the season

Disagree, he had so few worthwhile options and at 0-3 has to have one eye on Tuesday.

Squad is very thin on quality.

MR's got it wrong today I feel. Too little too late with changes and the wrong set up considering who was available. Swansea made to look good first half. We bossed the second half strangely. Could have been such a different outcome had we scored a couple of gifted chances.

I did not expect much today and looking twards those home games, which will either keep us in with a playoff chance or destroy it.

Huddersfield hunting for the autos. Fucking Huddersfield

Absolutely rubbish.

No I don't want to sack the manager because I'm not a Sunderland fan.

Maatsen back at LWB please. Godden back to full fitness please.

Hamer and Sheaf to just spend the next week locked in a room together passing the ball along the floor to each other and creating a special unbreakable bond.

Put Callum O'Hare in the cryo chamber and don't allow him to walk before the next game.

Get some performance enhancing drugs inside of JCS, Fadz and Rose.

Got what we deserved really, first half set up was wrong and lost us the game. They like to pass it about at the back yet we just left Gyokeres up there without the back up of O'Hare.

Looking at the squad it might be just about good enough to maintain the top half position but there just isn't the depth of quality we really need to push on for the play offs.

At least Godden is back and he looked reasonably sharp. I thought Waghorn actually did ok when he came on too so there is a chance to give Gyokeres a rest.

Spot on imo with your analysis 👌

Wasn't sure I'd be this reactionary but Tavares should start with Gyökeres on Tuesday.
I'd do that, but there's about as much chance of that as Putin declaring peace and saying sorry for everything, he's made a terrible mistake.

Robins must take a lot of responsibility for that defeat. Obviously doesn't trust his players to play the press without O'Hare. Allen and Maatsen are more than capable to do it.

I appreciate we missed O'Hare, but the first 45 plus 5 mins looked like we decided we were going to lose from the off. He is key to us as a team, but we were dire and rolled over to Swansea.

Frustrating.

We're better than they are 11 vs 11. Think they are probably better managed though, and have better depth.

Well that’s it isn’t it. And why the talk around the owners will only intensify the more often this sort of thing happens.

MR didn’t help himself mind

As angry as I've been with Robins in a long time. Result entirely as a result of this relentlessly impotent formation. What on earth does he think is going to change!? It really is like he tries to get as many non goal scoring players in the team as possible. Swansea are bottom half for a reason. They overplay and are fragile at the back. He has gifted the game with his negativity. We have a small chance of getting on the play offs and he needs to roll the dice in some games and try and win them not set up to be 0-0 after an hour.

It's usually you and Grendel trying to compete over it when decent on pitch decisions could help also.

No chance is it just me and him and I just said the manager doesn’t help himself. His room for error is certainly small though

Things that I don’t understand:

Why no subs earlier than 63 mins?
Why no Tavares?
Why only 1 striker over 5 foot 10 in squad?

He’s great but FFS the above is obvious to anyone with an IQ higher than a ribbon.

OK, genuine couple of questions here; hope some that watched can comment (I listened!)
We're we as bad as the scoreline/reaction suggests - we seemed to create chances (stats back this up - more than them/keeper made more saves)
Was it a case of a couple of mistakes and again, lack of abilty to finish made the game look worse than it actually was?????
