That thread posted there could apply to many facets of life in the UK, a country completely subjugated to the city of London.
Tsymbaliuk, the UNIAN correspondent in Moscow, has apparently reported General Ershov, the commander of the 6th General Army, has been placed under house arrest due to huge losses in Ukraine.
Listened to a podcast with Lieutenant General Richard Nugee earlier in the week and he spoke about the generals who have been killed in action in Ukraine, his take was that people that far up the chain are only on the front line if things have gone badly wrong.
Remarkable coverage from the BBC. Even if Putin could take the whole country how does he expect to hold it with this type of resistance.
And property and the sovereignty of UkraineYeah, that’s always been the case, even if he had overthrown government in a few days and replaced it, how do you maintain control without mass genocide ?! It would take tens or hundreds of thousands of troops.
Shambolic and totally ill thought through unless there’s something I’m missing or he genuinely thought enough Ukrainians would welcome the Russians in (bizarre as it sounds I’ve wondered if intelligence just told him what he wanted to hear)
Such an unnecessary waste of life
Equall, if he's toppled by force, an unstable Russia could be a very dangerous place to exist.Obviously it's the outcome we all want, but Putin losing this war also worries me.
I can't imagine coming back to Russia empty handed and looking weak is an option for someone like him
He’ll blag it. And with the complaint media he’ll achieve it.Obviously it's the outcome we all want, but Putin losing this war also worries me.

....where Clive refers to it as compliant media and calls the war, a war between the Prussians and UgandansTune into the after-match phone in most Saturdays on CWR
He may not be wrong. But war in Europe is closer to home. I wonder if they’re taking note of the Ukraine conflict. I guess they are still focusing on their own back yard. He’s not wrong

Has everyone got their bunker sorted if it kicks off?
16-50 year olds here put on notice they'll be called up if Russia decides to "wander" across the border.Has everyone got their bunker sorted if it kicks off?
