Grendel the relentlessness at which you try and start an argument on every thread is truly astounding.

I feel for your family if you are like this in real life.

Just put Grenners on ignore

Anyway yeah today they had a 19 million quid striker, a 30 million euro midfielder, a centre half who cost about 15 million quid and they brought on a midfield who also most about 15 million quid. So is it any shock they are now a better team than us.

As I said it wasn't long ago we we're losing in league 2 to FGR so yes I'll take this season and call it a success.

Amazing you have me on ignore but seem to know everything I say

We’re all he has. Quite sweet really. A real public service from everyone who replies - it’s like checking in at the old folks home.

Well you made an accusation I didn’t post on the Fulham game (which I did) and you of course didn’t on the Birmingham game at all (which I did)

I post at every home game Nick with pretty much the same consistency of posts.

@SBT says anyone posting at the game is a loner with no mates and no family

The vitriol is odd and a lot of regular posters are observing this with interest

Oh here we go. You're speaking on behalf of other people now?

You're deluded.

I haven’t read through all this, they were better than us and Solanke took his chances, but for the third goal he backed into our centre back who should have gone over for the free kick.

Bournemouth should enjoy their year up as they will be coming back down once Solanke stops scoring again.

Played ok in first half just didn't take our chances
I get that, maybe it's the two pints of Staropramen in the casino and the Madri in the Hub on the way home that's affected my mood, but that second goal really took the wind out of my sails and I'm still feeling down.

All in all a great season, just wish we'd be going to WBA next Saturday with a spring in our step.

Not managing three wins on the spin all season is the telling stat I take from this campaign

A lot of teams need owners that'll spunk loads of money into the club.
I'm stuck in the days when Bournemouth were being deducted 35 points, in the shit end of the league and held my interest more than they do at the moment. Pity really, Bournemouth are a 'nothing club'. What does that say about Coventry City? Bournemouth is likely to Yo-you like Norwich. This gap between crap prem teams and 'average' Championship teams is getting wider. Surely something has to be done about this? I don't want another Derby scenario. We did a pretty good job of farking ourselves as a club anyway

The same goes for the shit state of the EFL and the clubs abusing the FFP rules. This season skewed the Championship because the likes of Birmingham are worse than Derby and Reading. I know there is no other way of dealing with this but the failure to run clubs well should result in relegation without reprieve or the chance of clawing the point deductions. And I mean any club...not up for negotiation of penalty. The fans suffer of course.

What a frustrating afternoon.

Took the wife today for her first game and every time she attends we are always dreadful. She fails to see why I bother as it’s always a dismal showing. She’s banned now.

Frustrating to see so many of our supporters simply not interested in the game even at 0-0 and if there honest with themselves just there for the drink. A lot of them you just know it was there first game of the season.

Frustrating that we had to endure kids being encouraged by their once a season dads teaching little shits they dragged up how to smash the seat next to them all game.

Frustrating having to get up-every few seconds around fifteen minutes before half time so they can get the next round in.

Frustrating having to witness the guy next to me after half time scoff three bags of crisps and scrape every pinch of salt out the bags for fifteen minutes then bugger off home with his kid on 75 minutes.

Block 15 wasn't too bad to be fair. Usual faces with a few newbies but not much different to any other week.

Just the fare on the pitch that was disappointing.

Maybe give it a miss next time? Seems like you were unlucky. I thought the atmosphere was stifled today. I also thought that Bournemouth fans were rubbish. The team didn't look too far behind Bournemouth but they certainly knew where the net was when they got the ball. For heaven's sake...3 attempts on goal/ 3 goals. We looked poor in front of goal. Most of the other play was attractive at times but I always felt that Bournemouth players had the measure of us.

The Championship will remain fucked up until they start reducing the huge parachute payments clubs get when coming down.
It creates such a disparity between them and the rest.

We all know at least two of Burnley, Norwich and Watford will be nailed on top six, if not top three next season.

Got a season ticket but had a spare as one of us couldn’t make it today hence why the missus came. So bloody frustrating every time she attends it’s awful.

Changed what? Encouraging the club to live within it's means? We haven't sold anyone of note for 3 seasons and have spent decent amounts on several incoming transfers.
Do you really believe that. We were playing at Brum we were losing money.
We have still spent nothing compared to everyone else.
As for selling we sold all the players anyone wanted, we had no one else anyone was interested in.
Lets see what happens this close season hope I'm wrong but not holding my breath.

Not on ifollow abroad though, I can't watch it in central Europe.

It certainly was on iFollow abroad today, judging by the number on here who watched it. It always is, by default, with the occasional exception if it is selected for international TV coverage (for example the Blackburn game). When these occasional exceptions happen the club always announces it.

Yes, we operate at a loss, albeit a moderate one compared to other clubs, yet you want them to spend more. Abosultely fucking batshit that is.
Why were we losing money?
Paying rent at a higher rate then at the Ricoh and playing infront of crowds of 6000.( now that's batshit) and I was one of the ST holders for 2 shit years at SA
Now we have crowds of 20,000 cheaper rent and a proper shop and better cut of all f and b. Sorry mate but we deserve better. Doesnt need much to make that small push to the next level keep what we have and strengthen the squad.

Heads high first half we outplayed them and were unlucky last 30 we saw how lucky we were Kelly has been out injured and heads went down such a shame
That’s all well and good and by “outplayed them” I take it you mean that we had more possession during the match particularly first half?
Unfortunately they “outplayed us” where it counts-in both 18 yard boxes.
Still, a great effort over the season as whole and let’s hope we finish deservedly somewhere in the top half.
