One thing the past few years has surely shown is that it's pretty stupid the left being the main opposition to the left. Corbyn, Starmer, whoever (Ed Fucking Davey, Caroline Lucas) are all better than what we have!

I disagree,Corbyn was too accommodating. I think that's where he messed up, it fed into his poor brexit messaging and he kept snakes like Tom Watson around for too long.

I actually think Starmer did the right thing getting rid of the left of the party from his shadow cabinet when heslooking to go another way but that doesn't mean he couldn't have reached out to left wing party members/ voters.

I really want a reason to vote for him but I'm struggling.

But the current shadow cabinet seems quite content with the election of the Tories in 2019, so, i'm sorry but I am not now voting to remove them cos people like Rachel Reeves have got their choice of leader on board.

But regardless of what you think about Starmer, if you think he isn't left leaning enough, or if you think Corbyn is better... Labour with Starmer is clearly preferable to the Tories.

So if the three choices are:

A) vote Tory
B) vote Labour
C) none of the above because you don't like Starmer/he's not Jeremy Corbyn, most likely resulting in a Tory government

Why would you choose C? That's just cutting your nose off to spite your face.
