Note: The BT Sport team other than Rio have been totally in Liverpool's favour so you have to filter out that bias a bit. Also, I've always found Peter Walton to be a moron at times.

I just edited my comment. I think Peter Walton gets a lot wrong, and when he was trying to describe what was happening the video footage felt like it contradicted him. The first touch may have even come off a Liverpool player in the chaos, but we have only seen one good angle slowed down on one occasion.

well if that's the rule then so be it but why are they making all these stupid changes that do nothing to enhance the game?
And even the referee and VAR team were unsure hence an unnecessarily long stoppage, too much meddling in my opinion.

To be fair if VAR was used correctly - to correct catastrophic errors - then it would have remained not given as the Lino flagged and it was tight.
In that situation though it would be a 20 second check and done.
