we have seen players move teams and suddenly burst into life, I’m sure MR & AV know enough about the lad to know he will slot into our style of play and hopefully be a bit of a coup for the club.

This is exactly the sort of business we should be conducting in my opinion.

True, Gyokeres didn’t perform at Swansea but wasn’t exiled from the squad there. That’s what would concern me, e.g Todd Kane who we’re moving on sharpish.

Had a loan of loans ended early as well. Big wages, failed to deliver at multiple clubs at this level but still keeps getting picked up. Talk of him having the potential to be the best number 10 in the division in that article, on the bright side maybe he wants to come here to work with his old boss at one last chance of reaching his potential. I certainly wouldn’t be putting him on a Bidwell style contract though.

It does concern me that ‘the model’ appears to have been deviated from and we’re instead looking at expensive cast offs from other bloated squads. I thought we were being data driven?

I get that. However, have a think about why he would come here over Cardiff. And he wont be on 12k a week here.

He wants to play and rediscover his class, under a person who nurtured him and brought him through

I wonder who that might be...

Also its not all our money. We're better off this summer than a lot of people think
Is Maddison on the move?

Looks like the '3 that are ready to drop' are not dropping!
We can only hope that it's because investment has been secured and we are now 'shopping at Harrods' to quote John Sillett back in the day.

Well they may we be done or have been done for a little while just not announced because we have only just entered June and people are away on holiday.

I'm sure in the next week or so we will start seeing announcements.

Not that im aware of but that would certainly help the coffers.

The fruits of a higher average attendance, shirt sales, season ticket sales, not spunking money in Jan.

Just means it allows targets to be got before any outgoings have to take place. They will of course still take place but less urgency

We appear to have 2 strands of permanent recruitment

1) Data
2) Recommendations by Viveash

2 has got us Dabo, Wakefield and Kane so mixed bag

Ah I see, not entirely what we've been told though.

At least with Bright last year you would of thought he was on relatively small wages. If it’s true Cardiff offered 12k and couldn’t agree terms it seems a big risk for someone with his track record.

I think the Hamer deal is going to drop that was posted on here a few weeks ago. If correct its a big fee and gives MR a good return from it to replace and add.

I would not put much on waiting for it to happen to sign others. That could be a good thing as it could show the level of the players we are after or in talks with

Alan Dixon used to be with the sun didn’t he?

Wouldn’t particularly class his info as ‘on the pulse’. Any one of us on here would’ve guessed one of our stars will be off if the figure was right. People seem to hang on his every word, it’s hilarious.

And here’s the first bed wetter…… we’ll comfortably finish above Rotherham, Wigan, Birmingham, Reading, Hull, and after todays news Blackpool. I reckon you could probably throw Preston and Stoke in there as well. Luton could easily drop down the table.

No the first bedwetters are the people painting Nixon as an all seeing eye.

One of Gyok, O'Hare and and Gus may leave but Nixon does have a clue yet. It's easy to seem like you jhave an inside line by saying

"Well Coventry's incomings will be dependant on if they sell a player"

No shit mate
