I would like to think that if O'Hare was to go, then Robins would be allowed some funds, we've had this talk before and yet managed to bring in Sheaf, Hamer and Gyokeres, all for fees
Yeh probably and so would every single one of us.Is he going to go there for 3 times as much to sit on the bench?
so as i said, if it does happen then that inference was incorrect

3 year contact on £45k a week is over £7m.
Be absolutely mad not too - one look at Jodi Jones is all it takes

Tbh the figure I heard Fulham have offered for his personal terms would turn any head
It's probably 3 times what he's on here - which is already huge
We've knocked them back as far as the transfer fee goes but these things have a habit of only going one way once a player (or more usually his agent) sees what's on offer
I'll be gutted when wel lose O'Hare but if that sort of career opportunity comes he'd be mad not to take it.
Just refreshing that we aren't bent over a barrel in the fee negotiations for once
I'd back O'Hare to respond better to not getting a move elsewhere than Hamer. Slightly concerned if Hamer does stay we'll have a demotivated CM for a bit.We probably are. Robins I’m sure would have rather it was Hamer who himself I’m sure won’t be too delighted at his fellow midfielder getting mega wages vs his
I dont think he will be demotivated at all but I think he will start overtrying in order to get a move which could lead to a downturn in formI'd back O'Hare to respond better to not getting a move elsewhere than Hamer. Slightly concerned if Hamer does stay we'll have a demotivated CM for a bit.
I don't see that in Hamer at all. Think he'd just get on with it if a move didn't materialise.I'd back O'Hare to respond better to not getting a move elsewhere than Hamer. Slightly concerned if Hamer does stay we'll have a demotivated CM for a bit.

Fulham will be straight back down, but I suppose a year's wages in the Prem is too good to turn down. The absolute bastards!! (if he goes)
Like others have said, can only see this happening if we're resigned to one of O'Hare or Hamer leaving, and I think it'd be a step backwards in terms of quality. No way would we bring in another midfielder when we're crying out for a LWB and probably 2 CB's out of a very empty purse.
What's frustrating is that I could handle one of the big names being sold if I knew that that all that fee and wages would be reinvested in the squad and allow two or three more signings to join. But I know that won't happen and we'll end up bringing in a single replacement on the cheap and hoping they fill the sizeable gap. Like when we replaced Keane with Bellamy, only with even less of the funds being given to the manager.
I really do, at this moment, expect us to regress a bit this season.

Did we bid for the kid who joined Burnley instead of us.If we’re bidding 6 figures for this lad then O’Hare is probably going.
What about playing alongside O’Hare ?I could live with Sibley replacing O'Hare...
Palmer will be doing thatWhat about playing alongside O’Hare ?
Palmer will be doing that
Where did you hear that ? has there been secret negotiations well not so secret by the sound of it while he has been in SpainTbh the figure I heard Fulham have offered for his personal terms would turn any head

Why not when our best formation involves 2 attacking midfielders? We really don't need 3 attacking midfielders
Unless we are going in on the box this season, Godden, Gyokeres and Tavares as the striker options, Sibley, O’hare and Palmer as the AM options, thats some good depthWe really don't need 3 attacking midfielders

Agreed. Think we need 3 of each so we can mix up the formation properly between the box and 2 up front. So 6 players for 3 positions which is idealOkay, we really don't need 3 attacking midfielders AND 4 strikers.
Because we needed another attacking midfielder regardlessWhy is everyone so sure that Palmer isn’t the replacement for O’Hare?
he's and upgrade over playing allen there when we play 3-4-2-2-1Why is everyone so sure that Palmer isn’t the replacement for O’Hare?
12 players would be ideal...3-4-2-2-1
