How bad must her life be if that’s the best thing that’s ever happened to her. Seeing a box with allegedly a dead person’s body in is the best thing that’s ever happened to her. I just feel bad for her.
Paying respects is one thing if that’s what you want to do, making it into your 5 seconds of fame at the same time is desperate.

My clients aren't in today so I'm sitting in the office watching the funeral. It's really bizarre.

I must say some of the military drills they are doing are a bit sloppy. The North Korean's would be laughing!

Liz Truss getting the best bloody PR she could hope for. MPs should all be in the background at weddings and funerals. (56% of people in the big queue voted Tory)

To paraphrase dear Oscar.

"You'd need a heart of stone not to laugh"

Not the materialistic one here, but I wonder how much dollar is riding on the top of the coffin.

I'm sat in the park listening to a podcast. Was thinking of nipping for a pint but no doubt it will be on every TV screen!
Drizzling here in Keresley.

Might be coming your way.

Head to the boozer and sit with your back to the telly.

BSB, that was an order to stand down not a suggestion.
Now comrade, back to your position at the barricade.

We can now see the final Deliveroo driver arriving at Windsor Castle, dropping off Her Majesty’s favourite takeaway, a mixed kebab with chips and garlic sauce from Castle Doner. His Majesty Charles III of course will follow royal tradition and consume the gesture in St George’s Chapel. The last such occasion in 1952 saw the newly crowned Elizabeth II eating fish, chips, and mushy peas, all wrapped in newspaper, as was the preferred custom of the late King George VI.

Was there some sort of funeral today? Been for a couple of pints at my local and the telly was showing some drivel or other. Poncy dressed up people in a big church.

No real point, just a general observation of how pathetic this board has become turning almost every thread into bile and hatred. 27 pages on this one showing how much nobody cares, mostly by people who are against the monarchy.

I think my favourite is Christian pete 'liking' all the snidey comments, enhancing my view that religious people are generally among the worst in society.
