Ben Wilson' race for the golden glove?! (9 Viewers)

It’s a combination of the right defenders in front of him, and the confidence he has in McFadz, which has allowed his own confidence to increase and thereby giving him the room to improve ability-wise.

Fair play to Wilson, he’s surprised the heck out of me this season.

Did everything he needed to last night except for his long kicks. Don't remember a decent one. There was a few times he was alert enough to come running out. A couple of times he was down at the feet of a player and getting the ball.

What more can he do for the doubters?

All jokes apart and I know some of you still won't like him and would be pleased if we could get a fee, but with those kind of impressive stats I'd be amazed if he too wasnt on the radar of other clubs and that scouts were looking at him too. Ultimately the new contract signed that was scoffed at by some on here and other social media, could be a masterstroke whether he continues to improve or from a point of resale valuation.

Thought he looked good last night and made a couple of decent saves. Only thing that still worries me is his commanding of the six yard box on crosses. Like the rest of the defence looks better/more assured when Fadz is playing

I read the other day that the Sunderland keeper is going to get an England call up.
I think the article said 'keeper from Sunderland' and was referring to Ben 😀
