Robins has said he needs a few more players. Interesting he said he wants a player who is versatile in the striker, left wing, no 10 position. Not asking too much I guess but shows why we were after Dragus. Also, said he wants one more CB.

Good to hear CoH, Tavares and Allen all back on the grass.

Marquinhos on loan from Arsenal would fit the bill, had a spell at Norwich last season

Completely forgot with the season starting we’ve got another month to sign players.

I know Robins says a LCB and a ST/AM (and also that we might play four at the back - just saying), but we need a box to box CM IMO, even if just a loan.

Want us to make a real go of it and have decent cover in every position. We can’t be so reliant on one player.

Wilson/Collins/Tyler/Bell
Thomas/?? (Youth CB)
Fadz/Latibeaudiere/Di Trollio
LCB (Humphries)/Binks/ ?? (Youth CB)
van Ewijk/Sakamoto/Burroughs
Bidwell/Dasilva/Batwani
Hamer/CM/Howley/Rus
Sheaf/Kelly/Eccles/Moore
O’Hare/Palmer/Allen/Eghosa
Simms/Wright/ST (Emeran)/Godden/Tavares/Obikwu

Get shot of Moore, Cashman, Costello, Lusala. Squad of 36, 12 U21s basically plus Eccles and Burroughs and any kids coming up like Batwani from the U18s. Could probably lose Tavares as well, or maybe loan him and the likes of Howley out.

Hence the interest in Willock and Emeram i feel

Willock would be an answer to the 3rd striker and additional cam. Would be my choice

There is no Willock speculation, it was a poster on here saying their QPR "mate" had heard we were in for him. Absolutely nothing since

Damn I thought the Dabo at CM was a good shout but Simon Moore, even better shout, stops him being a threat in just our box but the oppositions as well

We've enquired because he wants out of QPR and who can blame him.

But he has a bit of an ego allegedly and will he be getting the game time he would want here if everyones fit? Not so sure. Hence its not gone past enquiry stage at the mo. Whoever posted they heard it from the QPR end wasnt lying.

Could change of course but you'd assume if we were serious we would have moved forward on him

We have not spoken to QPR, sadly i'm a QPR ITK (ex-house mate is a coach there).

The interesting thing for me is what happens IF Hamer goes. Do we bring someone in develop then for the season, write this one off as 'bedding everyone in?' Or do we try and get eqaul quality and still go for it?

Hes that crucial

Have to get someone in with quality to help us try win promotion. That simple. We're going for it every season for next 4-5

The risk with big ego's is that it disrupts the current set up. Thing is, someone of Willocks quality it could be worth the risk. He would start over Palmer for me.
