That’s horrendous news. Honest questions does every squad go through this or do we get an abnormal amount of injuries? Feel like it’s beyond a joke now. Horrendous fucking luck I’m sick of it
I don’t think we’ve had it much worse than other clubs, long-term injuries are everywhere, across all kinds of sports.

To be fair we don't know what went on do we? The whole summer though seems to have been so poorly planned for in retrospect. Squad not fit enough, players signed late.

‘Significant quad year’.

That won’t be a 6 week job, he’ll be lucky to be light training again in 6 months.

I always recall the WWE wrestler Triple H having a major quad tear during a live PPV years back; luckily it was right at the end of the match, as he put someone through the announcers table. If I remember rightly, he was easily out for a good 10 months.

Of course it differs from person to person, healing ability, etc, but we’re screwed at RWB.

I guess this is what happens when you're asked to carry the team.

Questions surely have to be asked of the medical department, and also the coaching teams judgment in taking off injured players. This isn’t the first, or even the second, third or fourth time under Robins that a player has been injured, not come off immediately and ended up with a serious injury.

How on Earth was he still moving after doing it?

So you’re saying we might not get to see MVE suplex someone through a table until 2024/25?

Eccles moves over to rwb and Ayari replacing him in midfield seems much more likely. Gives us an opportunity for more variety in midfield too. Moving Dasilva across results in a left footer on the right and the same midfield.

Massive blow this as van Ewijk, Dasilva and Latibeaudiere have been the only successes of the new signings so far.

Bidwell was the second most used player in a highly successful season last season - to freeze him out is typical robins

Tbh I think the least worst option is moving Latibeaudiere to RWB for the next few weeks at least. A shame, as he’s been excellent at CB, but Sakamoto is a liability and Eccles is needed in the middle for the time being.

I was joking at the start of the season how we had way too many RWB options, but the current situation shows just how much we botched the last window.

It’s sods law isn’t it, the two players we couldn’t afford injuries to are both injured

it’s bad how I’m happy sheaf is only 5 weeks roughly 😂

If his return isn’t marked with entrance music, pyrotechnics and him steel-chairing someone, I’ll be really disappointed.

He's been on the verge of leaving the last couple of transfer windows.

I think Robins values him as a backup but nothing more.

Of course our only attacking bright spark gets a long term potentially season ending injury

Just need the usual 2-3 yearly ACL’s to key players to kill of any further little bit of hope

As I said typical robins mentality and the manager stubborn streak - if he was leaving we’d have no LWB cover either
