But the big question is why are some people waving flags far from where the action is all happening?

I didn't say it was " the big question" I just asked why people decide to kick off in this (and other countries) about it?

Why the fuck is changing the colour of Wembley or putting a certain flag on a council house in the UK going to do anything?

Sounds like both sides are cunts for killing innocent people. It's just this time it's not as plain sailing as "pray for Ukraine".

I’m in the US right now and the news reporting is interesting, NY has the biggest concentration of Jews (more than Tel Avis etc) and the news reporters are definitely all for supporting them and destroying terrorism.
You do feel you are only getting one side to the story but I cannot confess to know all sides and the stories. We can only go on what the media portray which makes it tough as they control the narrative.

I guess the narrative is very different for Baghdad to NY for instance

It felt like you were the one acting superior, scoffing at people with flags in their social media, showing support for a cause they believe in. It's not something I would do but it's hardly the big problem of the moment.

Got a laugh off Grendel though, even though he said he was out of this thread.

US has closed their Embassy in Israel, had a message from a friend in LA who works for a Jewish owned Company, now she is working but a lot of the staff are missing. They had a note around that the Police are on heightened alert.
