Yeah definitely, they’re all in the same shitty boat that has several holes in it and only one oar. I hope we’re just a little bit more ruthless when it comes to ditching passengers like JDS and Allen, yes they can do a job but we need better subs than them, the whole team has to be strong, not just 10 or 11 players.

I would keep Alan, he is one of the players that doesn't rock the boat and gives 100%. Our press has always looked better when he is in the team due to his energy, his wages would be negligible compared to any replacement that would do the same job.

No idea but I kind if feel for him a bit. Massive decision at this point in his career. More money and a sideways step or stay where you are loved and are happy
Honestly, his form after Jan/Feb would’ve turned off a lot of potential suitors. I’m still of the mindset that he’s not proven he can make that step up yet.

If he re-signed and hit that Dec-Jan form over a longer period, he’ll have offers and at least this time we can profit.

It would take the pressure off Rudoni to hit the ground running and a natural successor if that aforementioned scenario happened. The risk would be if he gets seriously injured again or his form never hits that height again.

Fair, I just think he’s becoming a bit of a passenger now, doesn’t really create much and just looks to be slowing in general. I think we have to do better on the bench if we want to get into the prem. Imagine if we’re drawing a game with 20 mins to go and we bring Allen on, is he going to impact the game that much that we get the win? Maybe but when every single points matters massively I don’t think “maybe” is enough.

Agree.

Lets also remember, regardless what certain ITK cheerleaders say, he will be on bloody decent Money with us also.

@Saddlebrains my lad has heard a rumour that we have dropped out of the Worrall race due to wages as a certain Callum Doyle is being made available again on a loan with an option to buy? You heard anything?

I wasn't going to post anything about this as I also feel it's too good to be true but I have been told exactly the same 😳

He would be the left back. Loan with obligation to buy if promoted apparently.

I also wrote it off as bollocks hence not posting, but if numerous people are being informed the same.....

Would prefer to buy rather than loan so he’s committed to our cause and we can maybe make some profit out of him in the long run, like MVE, but if there’s no other option then he’s definitely better than Bidwell and JDS.

He's still best friends with Eccles and Burroughs, and he's made no secret of the fact that he would love to come back here, he sees us as unfinished business

It's possible and it would be some statement

File Doyle under likely nonsense.

He wants to play CB and he is a CB, we have 2 LCBs. He is on loads of money so the same issues as Worrell remain

Doyle isn't quick enough to play LB for us either, he's fine for a system like Man City's or Lesta's last year where the LB is a LCB when they have the ball but he really doesn't suit our system.

This is what I thought, but evidently he's quite comfortable and happy to be a left back 🤷

It's likely nonsense but what a day it would be if we could get O'Hare signed up and Doyle in

Cov Craig's Mrs will be smashed into oblivion tonight if so

We couldnt afford his fee where we are currently. If we get promoted however thats a different scenario

There is the thought that if we landed Doyle it could be something which might be enough to persuade CIH to stay. The quality signings might well put the idea in his head that the PL is much closer than he thinks

Doyle at LB? Personally not sure about that at all. Leicester supporting acquaintances were not very complimentary of him when playing there.

I can see why folk might write it off, but my personal perception is that Pep loves us and would do us a favour
