So in all reality CCFC owe 33% of its capital

It is true that SISU are screwing over this company, I hope the people that work there do not lose their jobs.

Are ACL wrong to ask for this money ?

Yes they are.

Who ? Are we saying that ACL are in the wrong here.

The current company house accounts only file up to June

How do we know that if SISU do not pay then the Ricoh will be repoed by the bank abd ACL will go into admin themselves waiting for a buyer ? Maybe SISU ?

Didn't fisher say that a few weeks ago?

I firmy believe this is the case ...............

Having SISU be the tenant of the Ricoh is essentially the tail wagging the dog if we talk about market value of ACL vs SISU. The council have not a pot to piss in from what I hear so any move to save ACL would make sense and save their interest.

SISU can operate under any name they want to save ACL. Anyone can form a company.

Yes that's a distinct possibility.

So says one of two things - AcL are rubbish or the Ricoh cannot exist without the football club paying a ridiculous rent to prop up an incompetent business.

The club should be offered the chance to buy the lot at effectively cost price because without them it's worth nothing.

I'm bored with it to be honest.

Why should the club be offered effectively a free gift (which "cost price" would be without allowing ACL to make some profit on it. I'm sure they haven't nearly paid off the outlay that CCC made when they had to step into pump millions of taxpayers money into the stadium funding gap. Without them, we would be homeless.

Or is the council obliged to pay for us to have a new ground, or allow us to use theirs at a peppercorn rent?

I can't think of anything more frightening for the future of CCFC than if we own the ground whilst SISU have a controlling stake in the club.

I can. No club and the Ricoh covered in moss. Well, in my eyes anyway that is worse.

The football club is the only reason it's called the Ricoh and is the only reason the place exists. Without it it's one huge white elephant. Sisu (probably fisher) has woken up to the fact.

ACL can't work it without them. We are not homeless so who gives a stuff about the past.

I agree with the first sentence 100% Grendel. But it's quite glib to say "who gives a stuff about the past" when ACL/CCC essentially need to cover the millions that CCC ploughed into the Ricoh in the first place.

This reminds me of Saddam Hussein's attitude towards Kuwait in 1990. They had loaned him billions to fund his war against Iran, then they made the mistake of asking for it back. His attitude was essentially "let's forget the past, let's stop bickering over number and call it quits, just move on" - Kuwait's attitude was "no, because you owe us $500bn" - Saddam's response...invade Kuwait.

There, I said it...SISU's tactics are equivilant to Saddam Hussein invading Kuwait!

Have they ploughed millions in or was it all a loan through ACL? And what benefit did the club get from the millions spent on decontaminating the land?

Even though they're making nearly 500k profit a year with us?

I assume we are shown as a creditor to the tube of £1.2 million so I guess it's negative £700k?

If your in into making a few bob in the long term then the SISU tactics are spot on , It all makes sense to me now. THEY WANT THE RICOH AND NOT THE TEAM

All this said if this is the case then I am happy for SISU if they take the club forward, i am sorry for the cabbages that did not have the sense way back when to get a rock solid contract together. I suspect if it was council involement then Civil servants do not have the same long term view as they move posts all the time

If SISU take the stadium then they have to take the club........... Prem here we come

Yes i'm tired and bored of this but Grendel you do talk some bollocks at times

So according to some ACL make a massive proft that is why they can afford to increase exhibition areas and increase the hotel size etc and still make 500, 000 profit after paying for these improvements of the facility.

Maybe they decide to stop the investment in the stadium to cover the CCFC loss of income

You can't have it both ways

Well I don't think they are gassing anyone.

The club should always have been able to purchase the ground for the mortgage value as they are the only reason it will ever work. You admit this

Other councils have rolled over. I have always said that the current arrangement destroys the club. I'm not saying sisu ate the answer but if the outcome is that ACL are bought down and the council ate forced to surrender the share I have no sympathy and it will be to the clubs benefit. That's all I care about.

You have summed it up there, SISU and Indeed ACL have no love of CCFC like you or everyone who posts here. In all honesty they could not give a fat rats tit about the club. All they are interested in is making money which as a company you should be so I cannot berate them for that,

The fans are caught in the middle. The players still get well payed and can move on.

I am telling you SISU hold all the aces and if they get the stadium, they may then concentrate on the club or ............... PUT IT UP FOR SALE

ACL will of wind us up as that is a suicide note that is my point. They don't make any profit without the club it's an average venue in a tin pot town near the NEC who have vastly superior facilities.

But as I have said ACL have invested several million pounds in improvements to the stadium and would obviously make a larger profit without investing more on infratucture, so they don't desperatley need CCFC.

It is the council that are desperate because if ACL they issue the winding up order they are worried about bad press/ votes

Logically business wise I would say wind us up ..........but obviously that is not what anyone of us wants

Going forward they will make no money the accounts show that. How do "improvements" generate revenue and profit? Factor in the loss of sponsorship revenue and catering income without the CCFC badge and what will they make then? Answer is nothing.

Name one outdoor stadium that makes any money with no sporting club? White elephant - try White Ciry.

They will give in to what sisu want they have no choice.
