Just love him! Thats 4 goals in his last 3 away games and an assist.
Staggered he wasnt persisted with earlier in the aeason. Even when not scoring hes got everything you want in a striker.
He gets shit because he doesn't always give 100% effort. He gets some real shit from some of our fans especially when he's been played as a lone striker, he needs to be played in a 2 or centrally in a 3 and he will score goals.
He does give 100% that's just nonsense .He gets shit because he doesn't always give 100% effort.
When he plays like he did today he's a big handful for anyone, but some games he's absolutely anonymous.
Bassette didn't get the chance to play as a front 2, but always put a shift in.
Tbf to Robins..Elliss got injured after the Luton at home game. He misses 2/3 matches after that..just after he looked like hitting form.shows how little a clue Robins et al actually had
chopping and changing up front, at the back, no time for anybody to settle into rhythm
I can't agree that he always gives 100%.He does give 100% that's just nonsense .
He seems a very introverted young man which won't help with his body language or his languid style when he's not performing well .
When he's confident he's a real menace and a huge asset to the side , up there with the best in the league
You could just tell with that interview yesterday, boys in a good place, nice to see him celebrate properly.
He started 8/12 under Robins, including 6 of the first 7. Then 1 of Lampard's first 7. It was Lampard's obsession with Bassette that was mind boggling.shows how little a clue Robins et al actually had

He’s so good and so much potential too.
I’m convinced his introverted personality is the reason he isn’t a fan favourite and is often on the boo boys list.
Anyone still crying for the bloke who runs around a lot and points for the ball in impossible places?

Yeah, maybe. He's a lad that thrives on confidence, keeping him firing is crucial now.It was possibly more that he knew he would be off after 60 mins. Not picking him after he scored against Watford was bizarre, as was Lampard sticking with bassette for so long.
I think bassette will come good by the way, bags of potential but not a lone striker as others have said
And almost got one vs leeds..still dont know how Meslier saved it. Think all the CBS Was celebrating a goal. He’s a top end calibre striker in the Championship. It’s about time people cottoned on.
Can’t head a ball apparently and has scored 4/5 headers!![]()

Yep so out of characterI even liked his yellow card.
No…wasn’t that Bobby Thomas?
