Always rated him tbh.
I thought he was a bit of a similar player to Ellis Simms where he wasn't someone who'd give you a lot of running and so some fans might think he was "lazy", but would have also benefitted from regular game time

Thank football we didn't sign Matty James. Even at L1 level he looks a bit out of shape and well off pace for Wrexham and getting plenty of stick from their fans.

I hold my hands up on this one. At the start of the season I thought he’d be a decent signing to add depth and experience to midfield. In hindsight I’m glad we didn’t bother
