Always rated him tbh.
I thought he was a bit of a similar player to Ellis Simms where he wasn't someone who'd give you a lot of running and so some fans might think he was "lazy", but would have also benefitted from regular game time

I hold my hands up on this one. At the start of the season I thought he’d be a decent signing to add depth and experience to midfield. In hindsight I’m glad we didn’t bother

I saw somebody make the comparison of Simms' miss to the one Gyok missed for us v Barnsley & it's a fair comment. People forget he was never the cleanest striker of the ball, safe to say he's improved that somewhat!
