Bit of a dry spell for Gyokeres at the moment, no goals in 4. It's reported he's playing through an injury, and they keep putting him on the pitch.

Shame for him, probably could have made it as a championship striker with better luck

Always rated him tbh.
I thought he was a bit of a similar player to Ellis Simms where he wasn't someone who'd give you a lot of running and so some fans might think he was "lazy", but would have also benefitted from regular game time

Not in the squad today due to “health problems “

Some pen too.

I saw somebody make the comparison of Simms' miss to the one Gyok missed for us v Barnsley & it's a fair comment. People forget he was never the cleanest striker of the ball, safe to say he's improved that somewhat!

Once he loss his confidence never seemed to get it back, and with his injury record and struggle for minutes Im not surprised he’s fallen this low, its unfortunate as he was once such a promising forward
Confidence my arse, he was just a lazy c**t.

Sunday league player who stole a living in the game.

Let's just cut through all the BS once and for all guys,
If he wasn't Des Walkers son, he'd never of got past the dog and ducks second eleven.

He was never promising, he traded on his name, end of!

I'm not having it. If he would have traded on his name he would have been a roofer.

3 goals in 12 games for Forest in the Champ
22 goals in 44 games for Mansfield in L2
14 goals in 29 games for Lincoln in L1
7 goals in 31 games for us in the Champ

(all season in a row from when he was 20-24)

That is a promising player, he knew where the back of the net was and had great movement and a lot of attributes like the frame, little bit of speed, strength.

He scored 10 in 68 championship appearances for us

He scored approximately 1 in 7 at championship level for us, which is shit.

I swear if his surname wasn't Walker he'd never of had a chance to play in the championship.
Awful player for us, offered zero workrate.

For me Tyler Walker was never given a consistent run in the team (similar to Ellis Simms until recently)

I remember him scoring 2 in 2 and then being dropped for Blackburn away…

No good for a confidence player, especially after Robins had chased him for so long to sign.
He went to pompey and was awful too

I remember Lincoln fans saying how lazy he was in the second spell he had there, he only lasted a handful of games, which was a surprise as he had his best run of scoring with them in the first spell, and they thought he'd pick up where he left off.

I doubt they said he was lazy as he’s been injured for virtually two years. He tried in January to play and he broke down again with and was out for another 10 weeks.
