Ah.....you are then! Finally unmasked.Find that post, very funny.
I'm more than happy to go to games at Northampton. Of course, Tim will need to cover my £100 train tickets to and from Scotland, £20 match ticket and another £20 for refreshments. Forgive me but I am confused. Your user name is Brighton Sky Blue BUT you are in Scotland?
Nah sod it I'll just have the £140.
Same can be applied to anything. Let's give it a try:
Plans well advanced now and if the 'I' s & T 's' are dotted & crossed on the Ricoh deal, would expect an announcement shortly!
Plans well advanced now and if the 'I' s & T 's' are dotted & crossed on the Messi deal, would expect an announcement shortly!
Plans well advanced now and if the 'I' s & T 's' are dotted & crossed on the Marlon King deal, would expect an announcement shortly!
Of course, just because someone says there are plans doesn't make it so.

so whos going to goTake it "pugwash" you didn't believe when they said "a football club will only survive long-term if they own their own ground & have access to all revenue streams", so if we can't get an agreement on the Ricoh we'll move out and move on" and that's why we're playing in Northampton. So guess you said it would never happen, reality however is very different
A football club needs revenue streams (no argument there) BUT they do not need the Freehold in order to gain those streams. Shitzu are after the Freehold for one reason and one reason only.......guess what that reason is .....Take it "pugwash" you didn't believe when they said "a football club will only survive long-term if they own their own ground & have access to all revenue streams", so if we can't get an agreement on the Ricoh we'll move out and move on" and that's why we're playing in Northampton. Owning your own ground and having "access" to all revenue streams isn`t going to be much use if you´ve got no customers and no revenue coming in. Just a thought.
Exactly Otis so really can't get my head round why any passionate Coventry City fan would find it preferable to rent a 12,000 capacity ground outside the city we take our name from and who we represent rather than having a similar scenario at a a 32,500 Olympic stadium built for us inside our city. Keep saying it but if you aspire to be tinpot you become tinpot....Yep, as has been admitted by Fisher himself in his own words, CCFC will not own any new ground. They will pay rent.

Nothing about paying rent, you even replied to the quote...

And OSB has mentioned the separating of property into a separate company isn't unusual in itself.
Nothing unusual about it no. But to say CCFC will own a new ground is a lie that needs to be exposed.

No,it's the structure of the companies that needs to be checked.

Wingy you're right one time is too many however you have to look at the context in respect to how it started not how it finished.
Plans well advanced now and if the 'I' s & T 's' are dotted & crossed on the land deal, would expect an announcement shortly!
If you go to Rotherham it'll give you a good idea what the stadium will look like. PUSB!

I still maintain the only way to get the club to budge on this is for no City fan to attend Northampton.
ML says they won't ever be a tenant then TF states that buying a long leasehold might also be acceptable. Frankly I'm of the opinion that JS/TF/ML are stupid, or they think we are - not sure which is worse.
I disagree. Why do you think that zero attendance would be any different to 1,000? From a publicity standpoint certainly it would be a big news item. Emotionally too for the fans.
However I don't believe that either of these things would influence SISU at all. Their only driver is money, and the difference between £10k and £0 for an attendance is small potatoes compared to the £30mm they hope to get by getting the Ricoh and land.
