What was the WASPS crowd today (20 Viewers)

I think you would be surprised at how many would call it a day of that happened.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - so please excuse any spelling or grammar errors :)

What you are saying here is that people would rather have Sisu than Wasps because Wasps have come to Coventry as a 'franchise'.
I think fans would welcome the move if they applied themselves to the football day out as they do for Rugby.

People need to take in a Rugby match at the Ricoh and then they can comment sensibly.
It seems that those that go can see improvements that CCFC could learn from.
We need to get into bed with Wasps and get CCFC back up the leagues.

No.

The majority of them are trying to change and improve how the club is run.

I doubt it, a few may believe, rightly or wrongly, that they are doing it for the greater good. The majority have simply stopped going, they would be back at the first sniff of a big game regardless of SISU.

Your living in lala land mate, you believe everything will be hunky dory with Wasps and that everything will be sunshine and rainbows. It isn't that simple and your one minded, narrow approach that everything will be perfect if we continue at the Ricoh as tenants under Wasps is as ridiculous as RFC constantly banging on about how great the new stadium will be every 5 minutes. You're like the anti-RFC, same level of foolishness just on opposite ends of the argument.

If Wasps had bought ACL and CCFC
Or SISU had bought wasps and ACL.

IMO the word franchising would get a very rare mention on this site.

You might get the odd franchising is wrong but hey ho type comment. The deal hasn't gone our way so the teddies are out of the building never mind the pram.

Well I wouldn't presume to speak for anyone but myself, but I'd hope there might be more than a few with higher moral standards. I wouldn't go to support a franchise team just because it was somehow beneficial to CCFC's owners, whomever they might be.

Again, if you're going to support franchise teams that's fine, it's a free country. Just don't throw your teddies out of the pram, to use your phrase, if at some point our owners move us out of the town again because they say it makes financial sense to them to do so. That would, quite clearly, be hypocrisy.

Yep, lets hope CCFC do absolutely nothing in regard to securing a long term tenancy at the Ricoh. That will guarantee Wasps giving us the best possible deal.

That's it. That's the only answer that you've got. Let's get a long term rent deal pinned down! I hope those who keep banging on about getting into partnership with Wasps have got a better plan than that.

Let's ask that question on more time - because no one has yet given a straight answer. What does anyone seriously think Wasps can or will offer us, other than a rental deal?

Me too.

Morals and all that ;)

To be honest I doubt I will renew next season anyway.

Nothing to do with our plight but the fact we are now tenants of a franchise and are the lodgers. I get less enthusiastic by the day.

So you two just moan on.
We have no other option than to get the best deal we can from Wasps.
But hey lets take them to court FFS.

Pots and kettles. How many constant tedious posts were there of you giving up, while blaming those going to Sixfields for the club's plight?

We have plenty of other options.

The 'only one option' nonsense is what lets people exploit and corrupt the football club.

Even if that were the truth that we have no other viable option than to get a deal with Wasps, you don't go into the negotiation room with an attitude of yea we have no other option so basically we have to accept whatever demands you force upon us.

Just to put you right.

I never blamed those going to Sixfields for the clubs plight. I said those going should know they were supporting Sisu's plan to gain the Ricoh.
Did you attend then as you are so sensitive ? I guess you did.
I never said I would stop supporting CCFC. I said I would not attend away games if they stayed at Sixfields this year.
It worked ?

So Mr Clever Dick whats the other options you refer to but never seem to be able to put it into words ?

Why wouldn't you want the club to get the Ricoh? It would be far better than the current situation. I think you missed the point as to why people did/didn't go to Sixfields, it wasn't about supporting/opposing SISU's evil plan for the club to own the Ricoh. It was more more a moral argument of playing outside the city vs wanting to watch your team.

Funnily enough, no one ever seems to answer that question.

FFS if you never ask you will never know.
They can't ask though while they are battling for the Ricoh in court.
Is that what you want to continue ?

Do you actually know what we get at the moment from them ?
Could it possibly be enough that if we ever started performing and getting the stadium filled we might progress upwards?

I suspect your hope is.....
Sisu win the JR, CCC call in loan, Wasps fail, Sisu get the Ricoh. ??

As you going to see Wasps are supporting the concept of the football club never having control over its stadium.

It was a 2-1 victory for hill over ground. Just idiots like you get right up my wick with your simplistic condescending attitude towards others.

I never said I would stop supporting CCFC.

You constantly said you were going to give up. Constantly. Stuck record and all that.

It worked ?

But for some bizarre reason, you claim that worked, but seem happy to embrace a cuckoo.

So Mr Clever Dick whats the other options you refer to but never seem to be able to put it into words ?

Said plenty of times, but you stick your fingers in your ears and go for patronising idiocy.

Thank Fuck for the ignore button, I now see a point for it.

Sisu are not the club.
Sisu would rent the stadium to us. Sisu would control the incomes we could have.
Get real. CCFC will never own the stadium.

Surely you knew that Sisu needed the club in Northampton to get hold of the Ricoh when you made the decision to support your team there ?

Well your hypothetical scenario will never happen so its irrelevant what I want/hope (although if by some stroke of luck Wasps did pack up there bags and leave I would be very pleased but as I say it won't happen)

The legal process is a waste of time and money as it will be unsuccessful which I've said on more than one occasion

I've also said on more than one occasion by all means ask but I'm not expecting to get.

The things that frustrating me the most at the moment is the lack of action, there seems to be no plan or even a plan to plan as to where we will play after the current deal expires, either by looking to extend it or having our own stadium. The worse thing for us would be within the last 6 months of the current deal at the Ricoh SISU suddenly realise we have nowhere to play next season and are forced to accept whatever terms ACL impose on us.

Whether we decide to stay at the Ricoh or move on there appears to be no progress on either and thats whats annoying me at the moment.

Speculation on your part, assuming your right it would have been preferable still to the current predicament.

As would any other owner had we bought the Ricoh you stupid c**t. Why do you continue to post of this forum? Surely you'd be better off posting on a Wasps forum? You seem massively out of place on here.

This is the Wasps part of the forum ?
Massively out of place?
The day three Sisu brainwashed posters beat me will never happen.
I take satisfaction when people insult and use foul language as a victory.

Funny really the brainwashed stuff, coming from the guy making GIFS banging on about how great they were and they were saving us. How many people you class as "SISU Brainwashed" have ever gone on about them like you did?

If it was a deal that led to CCFC having success you would be right I would be very surprised.
Lots of morals about francising in rugby would go straight out of the window IMO
