Looks like less than 2000 have bought season tickets even at the early bird prices has to be good news because it indicates to me that despite a trickle of better news on how our club is to be run, 4 year shirt deals, nice new shop at the Tesco site, new manager confirmed, coaches, improvement to the image of our club old season ticket holders look to be standing firm and seeing what investment is made player wise before committing to a ST. Been there too many times now to believe promised funds to recruit new blood and await the action promised.

Hey folks just read season tickets have just passed 2300,

quick question ion and apologies for sounding like a right noob but I've not had a season ticket since I was a kid, and back then my old man looked after mine. If we don't use the card system next season which is looking likely, how do the season tickets actually come ? In like a book of 23 tickets and you rip one off for each game or what ?

Not expecting to much in terms of new signings. Poorer attendances, cheaper tickets = no cash to spend. But its what me, my son and nephew do together on Saturdays when we're at home so took advantage of moving to block 19(from 16) for no extra cost.
Here's hoping its more than just a better view of the rubbish served up last year.

I bought 3 last night, how many brownie points for those?? moved to block 19 from the North stand, so you feckers better not wake me up singing and shouting!!:sarcasm:

seriously tho, all around us the fans were very vocal most of the game, just the sound got lost in the high roof line

I know 3 people that have never had ST but have purchased 12 game packages but they would have purchased ST had the direct debit option been available, important to get off to a good start if people use their 12 games for the first games to get fans purchasing another 6 later on in the season!

Yes i I enjoyed the peace:sleep: and space in block 20 looks like we will get neither of those next year, I just hope the empty seat next to me stops empty unless she is young and pretty

Me too...seems the right thing to do at this stage. It would certainly be nice to know how those sales are going, get a better idea of people's intentions...

Haha, last season for the first season since we've been at the Ricoh the seat in front didn't have anyone sitting in it! Was superb as the guy before used to throw himself back into his seat a dozen times a game & I would get the top of his seat digging into my shin! The searing pain would bring me near to tears!

You do realise the best way to get rid of Sisu is for the club to be successful, get promoted, receive the windfall a promotion brings and then for the owners to sell up don't you?

I won't be holding my breath for any of that, the only way I will buy home tickets is when Sisu show more commitment and investment in players ( long term contracts ) not loanees .

I don't really like people (must be why I became a City fan) so having somebody I may not like next to me doesn't appeal. Was tempted to get the seat for my little boy and then never take him as he won't sit still.

A few people do that, fair enough IMO.

And we are a miserable bunch give me 8k no queues to get in over a sell out "your in my seat mate!" "No I'm
Not" big crowd.

I like the space too.

Only twice last season did I have anyone sitting next to me. The Gillingham game and one when it was only a tenner.

I like to leave my house in Nuneaton around 2.15 and get into the ground for about 2.50 after having something to eat at my nans big crowds don't help that:D all this before the game, half time and after the game business is of no interest to me I can only get a pass out for a couple of hours

Agree I'm not a match day boozer so I usually PPP down to the casino watch last 20 mins of lunchtime KO head into the ground, watch the game & usually home to the otherside of Cov by 5:30.

I've steered clear of that thread as its gone off topic I agree though the club need to improve the match day 'experience' for those that it does effect and want to make a day of it.

If everybody keeps moving into block 20 I might ask the club to open the stand behind the goal so I can have some space:D

We really are a miserable anti-social lot

I like at least 3 empty seats to the left of me so I can put my head down at most games and have a little snooze.

I'm a sad git. I don't drink and am nearly always in the ground by about 2.15. Just sit in my seat and listen to the pre-match on CWR.
