Think it just makes it feel worse losing and having Maddison with his foot in a cast.

He will be a big loss for us, he's the player that knits the transition from midfield to attack.

It's also a bit of a blow that we have conceded 4 in our last 2 games.

Use the balance of the budget on Messinho from a PL club (there must be one somewhere!)

It's one of them. Always a struggle when you lose two players through injury. Hope Maddison isn't out for too long. 9 points from 4 games is promotion form.

Had to happen sooner or later. Hopefully Maddison's just booted and on crutches as a precaution. Week off now, chance to regroup. Key now is how quickly we get back on track. 3 points next game and its still a very good start to the season.

Was always going to be a tough test, back to the training ground for the Southend game. Looking forward to it!

Yup the starting 11 look pretty good at this level but a few injuries/suspensions/recalls etc and we are very fragile. We need a few more in for me to sustain a challenge.

Yep - win against Sarfend and it's still a fantastic start to the season. Congrats to Callum W (well done lad).

Fingers crossed re: Maddison, and hopefully a player or two to strengthen us.

Would have taken 3 wins from the first 4 games before the season started. On to the next one. Hopefully 3pts v Southend.

Bit of a reality check today I think. We clearly gave a good account of ourselves but the forced substitutions did us no favours as I think it changed our game plan.

Chin up guys we are at the top end of the table, in the long run we will gain more in experience going forward than 3 points lost today

If someone said you can go into the Southend game with a chance to get out of August with double figures points on the board.....you'd snatch their hand off.

Yes it's a mixture of bitter sweet today for me. Absolutely heartbroken we have lost as always but obviously 3 wins out of 4 and 3rd in the league and I would of taken that without a thought obviously so to conclude crap result today but very very good overall.

If one more person says you can't win em all I may scream. Sounds like it was a tough game and whilst I would have been happier with a point, losing two players to (hopefully trivial) injuries was always going to make it tough.

Still trying to get off the bloody car park

Didn't have the same pace of movement of the ball today. Wonder how much of that was due to missing Maddison and the space he creates?

Rubén looked lost quite a lot because he couldn't find Maddison after he went off. Someone should perhaps have told him Murphy was on in his place :D
