Beautiful boxer to watch. Can he swerve the power

I don’t want to say that Whittaker might’ve taken an ‘out’ without knowing what the injury is but hard to see how he injured his leg that bad

    Cricket 2024

Crickets such a mental game. Obviously a very flat pitch and easy to score runs but when there’s suddenly pressure to see out four sessions, the whole mentality can change. Impressive to force a win by scoring so quickly

Wonder if either would even make it to next election

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Yeah, members call but sure I saw that Badenoch was polling higher with them. Cleverly two less votes today than yesterday even though you’d have expected a chunk of Tugenhat votes to go to him. Very strange

    Liam Kitching

Coaching and inconsistent backline. It was the same at certain points last season. The defence and Gk is a unit (the CDM is also part of it). If we keep chopping and changing we’re likely to get the same result ie shitshow I personally think all the players we have are good enough at this...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Yeah, it’s all about context. If someone is shovelling 5000 calories down a day, a brisk walk won’t make much difference. If someone is just overeating a bit, exercise will help to keep things in check.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I’ve almost assumed that many people due to cost, access, poor knowledge etc won’t ever be eating great. Going for a long brisk walk every day shouldn’t be too much for anyone to grasp. I see both as critical though

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Exercise is the key to a lot of this. It doesn’t cost anyone anything other than time and as a country we seem to spend more and more of it on social media, I can’t imagine that it’s not available for most (appreciate not all) I get all the comments like Dave’s about multi billion dollar...

    Sheaf

Latí has been brought on at CDM before to see out games. Torp has been brought on to push to win games. Guessing Robins thought the players on the pitch could win us the game, just horrifically naive play to get caught 2 on 2. I’d have had latí on for sheaf myself as he was blowing near end...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

It is tiny in the grand scheme of things, so is the WFP, so’s removing two child benefit cap which many wanted, so’a pay rises for docs and train drivers (which has opened a can of worms elsewhere - see nurses, who out of all of them deserved the better rises), so’s continuing to support...

Daniels looks to be some talent ! You’ve got to be chuffed to have him on board. Still looks a bit slight build to me but hopefully he can avoid getting bashed up Not sure what Bengals front office has been playing at. To not just get the chase deal done over the summer was disruptive. Always...

    Kitching vs Binks

Agree with this. Binks long diagonals are quality but he’s too slow to play/move the ball a lot of the time. He started the season pretty well on a personal level but we’ve been poor defensively. Kitching is more of an organiser and leader so needs a run next to Thomas to see if we can turn...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Not sure it’s racism so much as a lack of appreciation and understanding of what China have been doing with regard to solar, EVs etc and also the fact that because they’re such a big country/population the damage being done is still huge. The new coal/power plants don’t help either. The US...

    Simms and Wright

I think it starts before that. The defenders just didn’t move the ball quickly yesterday. Against Watford and spurs we were going quicker down the channels, yesterday back to slow passing around the back. Binks has got a great raking left to right long pass but needs to learn to move ball...

Poll: Should Robins Stay Or Should He Go Now?

Yeah, Robins said he prevaricated over keeping the same team, which he wouldn’t usually do, because they had played so well against spurs. He held his hands up. Lesson learned. I could understand the message it was sending to players ie you play well and you stay in but with hindsight it was a...

Poll: Should Robins Stay Or Should He Go Now?

Agree with a lot of that. Bit early for all this. Some poor performances but also you look at Watford away which we could easily have won, Oxford that could’ve been 5 or 6 and spurs in the week. Even yesterday after a pathetic first 30 mins, it could’ve easily been 2-2 at HT (bassette hitting...

    Boxing 2024

As I say, I like him. Just found wanting at the elite level…and can be wobbled badly around the temple (so is far better when keeping hands high 🤷‍♂️ reckless tonight again)

    Robins Comments

He pretty much admitted this. Said he prevaricated about changing team and regretted his decision. We need a leader in the backline and the only one who could potentially do that is Kitching. Binks might even be the better player currently out the two but he’s no organiser/leader, some of our...

    Boxing 2024

I still like AJ and hope he can come again but that half arsed defence is going to get him hurt. If he’s not going to be focussed then retire…got plenty in the bank and had a really good career, just no need
