Match Thread Coventry City at Newport County Match Thread - Friday 30th Mar

Have to agree - thought we were very poor. Talk on here of an inspired half time team talk by Robins are a bit off the mark as we were shocking for a lot of the second half and I thought the changes would never come. Really got to up our game in the Iast few fixtures or we'll miss out.

Match Thread Coventry City at Brighton and Hove Albion Match Thread - Saturday 17th Feb

Don't remind me. I was 14. Got back to Leamington station and someone had nicked my bike. Not a good day.

The green green grass of home

Proper floodlight pylons. Could see them from all over the city. For me on matchday the first glimpse was coming down the hill on the Humber Road.

Sherwin Seedorf? Lawrence Shankland? Is someone making these up? Who's next, Wilfred Crudbucket from Accrington?

Cov fans at MK - Video

Sorry, missed that while I've been farting about trying to start a thread here on my steam driven incredibly slow PC! Really hard to hold a steady camera when all you want to do is jump up and down and celebrate!

Cov fans at MK - Video

Just stuck a 3 minute video on YouTube. Bit of the SBA plus goal celebrations. Fantastic to outnumber the home fans, just a shame we always seem to attract a few idiots who can't hold their beer. Great afternoon anyway. Started off in block 24 but noticed Cov fans near us were just wandering...

MK Dons - Ticket Sales Thread

Got an MK based mate to get me 4 tickets based on this advice and its in the MK end of the main stand, not nearest the Cov fans so beware folks. Sure there would be some nearer ( ie 25, 24 or 23). I should have checked!

Which goal made you go the most mental?

Funny how your favourites tend to be the same as others. For me definitely Gynn's equaliser in the Semi, Houch's in the Final, and Thommo's v West Ham. All mental. Should definitely have a thread about injuries sustained while celebrating. Twisted my ankle in the mayhem at Hillsborough and was...

    Chesterfield sold

Hector's House, Zsa Zsa the cat. Depressing what a minority we're in to actually know what you're on about.

One of my favourite festive games

Fantastic game, shame there's no footage of it. And Blythy did the same a couple of weeks later against Liverpool when we won 1-0. Norwich game was actually on 27th but we remember it as a Boxing Day game. Maybe one of those unofficial "Boxing Days" due to 26th being a Sunday? Can't be bothered...

This weeks big game v Villa

HS2 is just clipping a small corner of Bodymoor, giving Villa a bucketload of compensation to expand the site even further, doubling the size of the facility using adjacent land they've already purchased.

Positive News for the Academy - Wasps pull out of Higgs

In the last week I have heard the same rumour from two separate sources - both reliable and unconnected- that an announcement is imminent regarding the AHC and CCFC. Both sources were guarded and gave little away, although obviously privy to the same information. What I do gather is there is to...

    Luton Away

Anyone else out there got a Luton connection? My Dad was a Hatters fan (went to their 1950's Cup Final) and I was born near Dunstable. We moved up here in '69 when he and a load of others had to relocate their car/ truck industry jobs from Luton and Dunstable to Coventry (Ryton, Stoke and...
