Match Thread Coventry City - Rotherham United FC Match Thread - Tuesday 5th Mar

Let's be honest, we cruised to that and were well worthy. Anyone trying to pick fault is trying too hard. Second half it settled into that usual pattern you often see when teams race to a big 1st half lead. We were a bit too passive but we didn't need to get out of second gear. Goal difference...

    unrest behind the scenes

Win the next two and it's all sweetness and light again, people will be saying 'it's on' and will fawn over City Unseen videos with mario cart content saying what a tight group we have. Not saying we win the next two, or that if we do we can make play-offs (don't think we will), but things can...

    Just a thought

I agree people have got carried away with expectations this season, but don't recall what you describe in the 1st season after promotion. There was a lot of realism that season (we had max up front for most of it), people were very aware of the squad we had. May have been the odd performance...

Who is good enough next season?

I'm what way has Kitching been a liability? The sending offs? That can happen. One or two iffy moments, but he was a regular starter during our best spell this season. His absence in recent games is showing.

Who is good enough next season?

Much of it has been spent and the fee was overstated according to SU fans, there was a good chunk that was dependent on them staying in the PL. We also lose half a million a month. I'd say there isn't much money left.

    6000 empty seats ? Really ?

Does seem a touch out. As stated, to fill all the seats you would have to have fitted in the entire Maidstone following again, plus another 1000 on top of that. Not sure where tbh, not that it really matters.

    6000 empty seats ? Really ?

But they would still be counted if they bought a ticket, and by kick off you couldn't buy a ticket anywhere other than the family section.

    Maidstone Tickets

Half and half scarves everywhere in dhillons. Even a few city fans wearing them 🙄

value of win tonight in cash terms

They get 45% anyway. Total gate receipts tonight won't be more than an average of £11 per ticket. Take off vat and match costs and each club is only getting around 100K from tonight at most.

value of win tonight in cash terms

They will not break the £37 limit for cat a home games. They didn't for the play off semi, and wouldn't regardless of opposition.

    Our support vs Preston

Can't we just accept it was a bad night all round? Are people forgetting the start of this season and especially last season when we backed the team brilliantly in adversity. It was just one of those nights, we were so bad in such an important game and a few people got giddy and didn't shower...

Match Thread Coventry City - Preston North End FC Match Thread - Friday 23rd Feb

Behave. Man City fans, aside from the tourists, staying to the 90th minute when being battered 😂? They all fuck off early when they are winning. I was literally with a wolves season ticket holder tonight. Kept asking why I wasn't leaving. Did the you see the state of OS when West Ham were...

Match Thread Coventry City - Preston North End FC Match Thread - Friday 23rd Feb

I'm simply saying we've backed the team brilliantly in recent years, even in defeat. Tonight was so bad that there was a bit of a reaction, but like.i say, you'd have seen the same in any ground. Anyway, any negativity in the stands is the least of their worries. Can only imagine the roasting...

Match Thread Coventry City - Preston North End FC Match Thread - Friday 23rd Feb

Oh stop being a drama queen. Robins himself said it was an atrocious performance, the worst in years. We could all see that. There isn't a football ground in the country that wouldn't have emptied at 80 minutes tonight Leaving at half time is weird I admit, but the vast majority stayed the back...

I'd seen someone say it is potentially career ending, but that sounds like something he can recover from with enough time.

    Maidstone Tickets

The corporate blocks hold relatively few seats. 26 and 27 have been fully opened, they sold well before ST release and are pretty much sold out. It's only the very front section of 25 that hasn't been opened. Family area is getting towards 50% full. Away end has 4800 sold, more than we've...

    Maidstone Tickets

Fair chance of this happening. The family area may well be a bit sparse but the other areas have about 3-4k left plus the PSB/corporate balcony. It surprises me how many seats were not taken up by ST holders (may have been due to only a couple of days before general release). No surprises re...

    Maidstone Tickets

How do they do that, drive up to Cov and stop random people and ask? When even Leicester and Wednesday fans failed to get into our end (might have been a handful dotted around, but didn't see any) it's not going to happen is it? Even if they approach people online, who is going to get a ticket...
