    Maidstone Tickets

We haven't given a team more than 4.5K for about 10 years. 4800 is a bit of a departure so can't see them increasing that.

Home fans in South Stand v Preston - Trial Confirmed

Exactly. Although it seems odd that we need to trial it all given we split the south Stand for the play off semi.

Home fans in South Stand v Preston - Trial Confirmed

3 games this season general admission tickets have sold out. Also only 3 games where away allocation has sold. Sounds anyway like this is going to add flexibility, it will be an overspill either way.

Home fans in South Stand v Preston - Trial Confirmed

Why will they? There's less chance at issues because behind the goal everyone is on the same level. At the moment because of how 14 curves around there's more opportunity for fans to face and goad each other. This will be far easier to police and there will still be separation.

Home fans in South Stand v Preston - Trial Confirmed

I'd have done it that way too. Keep atmosphere in corner and open the far side to city fans based on demand.

Home fans in South Stand v Preston - Trial Confirmed

Dilemna next season will be those considering moving ST from the corner to behind the goal, they'd have to surrender their seats for cup games. I imagine club will leave options open and not sell STs in there but vary it game on game. Good news though.

    The queues

Isn't going to change anytime soon. VLR was meant to fix this, but that doesn't seem to move forward. Billions of investment in public transport across the rest of the region with Midlands metro, but Cov gets fuck all. Even when VLR does happen, the northern route to the CBS will be the last...

    Home ticketing policy

Also a weird comment he made about how it might 'look' if there is a block open and there aren't many people in it. If they were that bothered they'd reverse the TV cameras. If not that, then work to improve occupancy in the west stand, which even when the ground is 'sold out' still has loads of...

Match Thread Coventry City - Millwall FC Match Thread - Sunday 11th Feb

Plus lots weren't playing anyway with it being half term, my lad has no game (although he'd have chosen city anyway) so hopefully won't be too many missing.

Finally released some in block 5. This system of releasing in small amounts needs looking at. Nearly 12 hours with tickets effectively off sale.

Still block 5 to open and still some seats in block 26 reserved for potg not yet released. That's about it, but obviously will be usual gaps where people don't turn up. For a midday game on sky against Millwall, that really is an excellent turn out.

Half the people I know who had tickets tonight have cried off because of weather 😂 absolute lightweights

This shouldn't be underestimated. A big home tie, with TV and prize money could be worth up to 750K. That's probably the equivalent of 2.5K+ season ticket holders.

Would be a little pointless given the kop is closed for the game. Will be a little odd to be in an empty stadium with a full away end. MK vibes.

I dont miss Highfield Road anymore

It's good to see the facility in the hands of owners willing to invest in it. It's in quite a state externally, but I am sure this will be addressed. The area around the CBS is also in a sorry state, but there seems to be progress here too. Construction on the new hotel starts this year...

Match Thread Coventry City - Leicester City Match Thread - Saturday 13th Jan

Not really one for match vlogs really, but enjoyed this one. All the focus is always on SC for atmosphere, but this shows how lively it is over the other side of the ground.

Wasn't aware they did that outside of the play off games, not seen it this season, but yeah must be there tomorrow.

Only back 6 rows, surely not going to leave rest of block empty when it has been open 4 times already this season?
