Match Thread Coventry City - Leicester City Match Thread - Saturday 13th Jan

That would be mad and I'm certain he won't do that, not at home. I think the opposite, we'll have a right go at them

Block 5 hasn't, but 13 has for this game. Was closed against Blues iirc? Depends.on corporate sales, but should be more.or less the same.

    Flags ?

Wembley tickets sold out 5 days before the game - TICKETS: Play-Off Final - General Admission sold-out, Disabled tickets remain available - were some empty seats on the day though, probably allocated to sponsors or something.

They usually aim to depart 1 hour after the stated arrival time from my experience

FA CUP 4TH ROUND DRAW - MONDAY 19:50 (ish)

Fair point, but it could be they play Friday.

FA CUP 4TH ROUND DRAW - MONDAY 19:50 (ish)

I saw a stat once, when two teams play each other back to back in league and cup games it's rare that a team wins both. I know it should be meaningless, but one of those weird football anomalies that we'll no doubt add to.

FA CUP 4TH ROUND DRAW - MONDAY 19:50 (ish)

Sheffield United at home also, so one of the games won't be on a Saturday

FA CUP 4TH ROUND DRAW - MONDAY 19:50 (ish)

It's terrible. Winnable, but could get turned over. Shite that we play them the week before so puts a damper on the day out, and they only got 10,000 in the 3rd round so not much of a payday either.

FA CUP 4TH ROUND DRAW - MONDAY 19:50 (ish)

Will effect the league following, and maybe the cup following. Lots will pick one or the other.

2 weeks running at Hillsborough. Bullshit.

Yeah, the steeper stands and the fact the roof is elevated make a real difference. Feels a lot bigger.

It's walkable though, done it a number of times. They did get that right, building right next to Filbert St. Pity we didn't have that option. That said, I think our place has matured better. KP leaves me a bit cold.

I think it's just a summary of the stuff that has happened before, during times that were very different. Wasn't an attempt to glorify it, merely it was to illustrate that this fixture has a lot of history to it.

Hackney is sound. All GMK survivors are welcome here.

Yep. Quite a few of the cross-eyed fuckers in Rugby too. See Hackneyfox ...😉

    Leicester

I think the fixture has always had meaning for some, simple geography really, just 16 miles of motorway separating the two cities so lots of fans living side by side. Has always been the game I look forward to most, but aware not everyone feels that way. Long week as work as the office is...

Agree, it's very easy to work out what the high demand games will be.

Match Thread Coventry City v Oxford United - FA CUP 3RD ROUND - 6th January 12:30

It was always going to be flat, especially the way the game played out, there was no jeopardy, it was like an exhibition game. There wasn't much goading tbf, a bit at the end and it was all a bit silly and fairly good natured. Plenty of Oxford fans smiling at it.
