Apparently the north east of England is a hotspot for Neanderthal DNA, particularly the Sunderland area.

    Thugs already freed.

Most of the 12 Southend thugs who set on Cambridge fan, Simon Dobbin and left him severely brain damaged are already out of prison. His life sentence continues. Good on DIYSOS for helping his family.

    I'm In A Movie

I've broken into a study or office at night to find an important document. I don't have a lot of time and have a torch in my mouth. Despite the numerous drawers, cupboards, shelves, files and boxes I find what I need.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I think my point is (and I'm playing devil's advocate here) that it wouldn't be a bluff! Remember hard Brexiteers see a golden future outside the EU. There are other cars out there in their world view. I'm not endorsing this but just observing that it seems a weak hand if you take this view.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

As someone who voted remain, I do have some sympathy for this view. Imagine I came to buy your second hand car off you and I started negotiations by saying, "OK, just before we start let me just tell you that I'm definitely going to buy your car, I won't be walking away without a deal. Right...

    I'm In A Movie

I'm the hero in a movie having a full on fist fight. I am hit hard with huge punches to the face multiple times. I never get a broken jaw, broken nose or cheekbone but usually a small cut above the eye. The next day I will show no bruising. I am involved in a dangerous car chase with gunfire...

    I'm In A Movie

Some of these are great especially the geek ones. The cliched crap that we can all identify go me thinking about detective dramas and here's one I've noticed: I'm in a movie as a suspect being interviewed about a murder by police at my workplace, I have a manual job which I will continue to do...

...increase in migrants across the Channel.

When I was born the population of England was around 40 million, it's now 55 million and rising fast so that's a over a third more just in my lifetime. England is already one of the most densely populated countries in Europe, probably in the top 3 or 4 if you ignore those microstates like...

...increase in migrants across the Channel.

If economics is mathematics we would all agree on the same 'correct' answer. Unfortunately if you put ten economic 'experts' in the same room the only thing you can be sure on is that they would all disagree. Economics is underpinned by ideology and subjectivity, that's why Labour and...

...increase in migrants across the Channel.

The data on this is full of assumptions (economics like sociology is not a science). You could well be right but you could well be wrong. I come at this from an ecology point of view and net migration of a third of a million people ( about the size of Coventry) per year is not sustainable. You...

    London stabbings...

Yup, then it made me think about this move from Nottingham - did they not inform the local authorities about this move so his new school area wouldn't chase him? As Nick says institutions are always blamed but there is a big elephant in the room here and inconvenient truths. The sad fact is...
